These headphones are worth every penny and live up to the hype. They are substantial and well made - no cheap plastic or shortcuts. They are so simple but incredible. Easy to use, beautiful to look at and incredible to listen to.

While the omission of the H2 chip is a slight disappointment that could warrant its own discussion, the overall experience has been positive, delivering the premium audio and seamless integration I've come to expect from Apple. I am primarily using it at home for focused listening and a welcome dose of tranquility, the AirPods Max excel at creating an immersive experience. The noise cancellation is truly impressive – so much so that my fiancé might occasionally feel ignored as I tune out the world around me. The audio quality is rich and detailed, providing a fantastic listening experience across various genres. The physical presence of the AirPods Max is undeniable. You can certainly feel their weight, a characteristic that might make some think twice before buying. However, for my typical listening sessions, the weight hasn't been a significant drawback, and the comfortable earcups help to distribute it effectively. If you're considering these, I'd highly recommend investing in protective covers. The sleek aluminum build, while aesthetically pleasing, does seem prone to scratches. The inclusion of USB-C is a welcome update because I would not have bought them. If you're already invested in the Apple ecosystem and value seamless pairing, exceptional noise cancellation, and premium sound quality, the AirPods Max are a solid option even if they aren’t the best on the market. While the price point is undoubtedly high, the overall experience justifies the investment for those seeking a top-tier listening experience within the Apple framework. Despite the minor wish for the H2 chip, I have no regrets about this purchase.

Pick-up was quick and easy. Very satisfied with this item! Changed from the Sony XM4, and it is noticeably heavier; it takes a while to get adjusted to the weight or pressure. That being said, the sound quality is great, particularly with the noise cancellation feature. You can also use the charger on a MacBook to both charge and listen at the same time.

awesome over the ear headphones! if you have an Apple device this is a must have! I wear them for hours while at work (I work remote) and it is a huge upgrade from regular airpods, better for your ear health and the noise cancellation is a real game changer!

Bought these to replace my old AirPods Max with the lighting port. As expected, they sound amazing with a great build quality. I have a large head and these fit with room to spare which is hard to find in over the ear headphones.

I bought these headphones as a last minute splurge for myself and they are worth it! It's a beautiful lavender color, not purple. The noise cancellation is exceptional, better than the Bose and Airpods 2 & 3 that I own. What I love most is the fact that it easily toggles between my iphone and ipad automatically. This was a gift for my 15-year-old granddaughter. She absolutely loves them and is wearing them almost every time I see her. She says that sound quality is amazing. They are comfortable and the sound cannot be heard by others when she is wearing them.

Helped my friend get these for his birthday. He was very excited. I loved seeing the smile on his face. He really wanted them. The noise canceling is very impressive and they are very comfortable. Great purchase. We got an “excellent” open box pair. Only thing is they were paired to someone else’s account, so every time you connect them, it tells you the owner might see their location. Otherwise they are very good quality.

First the positives…they sound great. Feels very premium and more premium than the competition. Works flawlessly in the Apple ecosystem. The bad…they’re kinda heavy and will slide down your head if you look down. The supplied case is literally fabric and magnets that wouldn’t save the AirPods from being damaged (I bought a hard case from Amazon. Lastly, the price…$550 normally for these are WAY overpriced. I paid $399 her at Best Buy when they were on sale and had I paid more…it wouldn’t be a good deal.
