Pick-up was quick and easy. Very satisfied with this item! Changed from the Sony XM4, and it is noticeably heavier; it takes a while to get adjusted to the weight or pressure. That being said, the sound quality is great, particularly with the noise cancellation feature. You can also use the charger on a MacBook to both charge and listen at the same time.

Headphones are very comfortable. A bit heavy on top, but great sound and comfortable while listening to music or viewing a movie. Colors are great

Great product from Apple but not giving it 5 stars for two reasons. The unit purchased was an open box that had been paired to another Apple ID and that was not reset so we got a warning that the other Apple ID could see our location. It took some time to figure out and was not very intuitive. Neither are the control buttons. It took a minute to orientate and figure out the buttons. Overall sound quality is excellent, good comfort and design. For $500 I would think they would come with a nicer soft shell case but the simple holder they come with is better than nothing I guess.

I loved it it’s the best thing I ever got it’s very comfortable on the head I wear it most of the day especially at the gym. Also the color is amazing

If you are looking for a headphone, then this is the one. I bought this Apple AirPods Max again after 3 years using the last one because it has USB-C plug-in cable. It's really noise-less and the sound is great!

You can certainly feel their weight, a characteristic that might make some think twice before buying. However, for my typical listening sessions, the weight hasn't been a significant drawback, and the comfortable earcups help to distribute it effectively. If you're considering these, I'd highly recommend investing in protective covers. The sleek aluminum build, while aesthetically pleasing, does seem prone to scratches. The inclusion of USB-C is a welcome update because I would not have bought them. If you're already invested in the Apple ecosystem and value seamless pairing, exceptional noise cancellation, and premium sound quality, the AirPods Max are a solid option even if they aren’t the best on the market. While the price point is undoubtedly high, the overall experience justifies the investment for those seeking a top-tier listening experience within the Apple framework. Despite the minor wish for the H2 chip, I have no regrets about this purchase.

excellent sound and noise cancelling, battery last forever, I bought the silicone covers for the ear cups and headband and use them in the gym, they work perfect paired with my apple watch. they really are a well designed product.

I bought these headphones as a last minute splurge for myself and they are worth it! It's a beautiful lavender color, not purple. The noise cancellation is exceptional, better than the Bose and Airpods 2 & 3 that I own. What I love most is the fact that it easily toggles between my iphone and ipad automatically. This one is a keeper!

First the positives…they sound great. Feels very premium and more premium than the competition. Works flawlessly in the Apple ecosystem. The bad…they’re kinda heavy and will slide down your head if you look down. The supplied case is literally fabric and magnets that wouldn’t save the AirPods from being damaged (I bought a hard case from Amazon. Lastly, the price…$550 normally for these are WAY overpriced. I paid $399 her at Best Buy when they were on sale and had I paid more…it wouldn’t be a good deal.

I bought these for my teen who is in his last year of school. He's harder to buy for than he used to be, if I want it to be a surprise, but these were a success. He was happy to have them, loves the fit and says the noise cancelling factor is so much better than his previous brand.

With a tight budget, I had to return my pair. But in my experience with it, and considering I bought it when it was heavily discounted, it’s definitely worth it, if you can find a hot sale. There’s plenty of amazing options out there, but to me, at least, these are the easiest to navigate. Phenomenal sound quality, but definitely heavy. Noise cancellation is also pretty great, so if you’re vacuuming and doing chores, those sounds won’t be as obnoxious

Awesome Sound, Top notch noise cancellation with ability to adjust NC levels in case you are using/listening near traffic for example. Solid build quality, easy to use, comfortable over long periods of time. Not any negatives yet...
