After weeks of daily use, I can confidently say the AirPods Max have transformed my listening experience. While the price tag initially gave me pause, the quality and thoughtful design have won me over completely.
Sound Quality That Delivers
The audio is simply spectacular. Whether I'm listening to orchestral music, podcasts, or bass-heavy tracks, the sound is crisp, balanced, and immersive. The computational audio works seamlessly in the background, and I notice details in songs I've heard hundreds of times before. These headphones make everything sound better.
Noise Cancellation Done Right
The Active Noise Cancellation is industry-leading. I can work in busy coffee shops, on planes, or anywhere with distractions and feel completely isolated in my own audio world. The Transparency Mode is equally impressive – it's so natural that I often forget I'm wearing headphones when talking to someone.
Comfort for the Long Haul
Despite their weight, the AirPods Max are remarkably comfortable for extended wear. The mesh headband distributes pressure evenly, and the memory foam ear cushions create a perfect seal without feeling too tight. I regularly wear them for 3-4 hour stretches without discomfort.
Seamless Apple Integration
If you're in the Apple ecosystem, the magic is real. They pair instantly, switch between my iPhone, iPad, and Mac effortlessly, and spatial audio with head tracking adds an incredible dimension to movies and supported music. The digital crown is intuitive and feels more precise than touch controls on other headphones.
The Bottom Line
Are they expensive? Yes. Are they worth it? For me, absolutely. The AirPods Max excel at what matters most – exceptional sound quality, best-in-class noise cancellation, and that signature Apple experience where everything just works. If you're serious about audio and already invested in Apple products, these headphones are a premium choice that delivers on their promise.
Rating: 9/10 – A near-perfect listening experience for those willing to invest in quality. Also on a side note my wife has been using them lately as well and looks like we will be getting a second pair!

I bought the Apple AirPods Max (USB-C) in Midnight as a gift for my partner, and they have not stopped talking about how much they love them! From the moment they opened the box, I could tell this was going to be something special. The packaging felt premium, and the headphones themselves are absolutely gorgeous, the Midnight color is so sleek and elegant, it really stands out without being flashy.
The first thing my partner commented on was how comfortable they are. The ear cushions are soft and fit perfectly, and even after wearing them for hours, they don’t cause any discomfort. They use them for everything — listening to music, watching shows, working, and even just relaxing — and they keep saying how amazing the sound quality is. The audio is crystal clear with deep, rich bass, and the noise cancellation blocks out everything else, making it easy to just get lost in the music or a podcast.
They’re also really impressed by how smoothly everything connects through the USB-C and Apple ecosystem. Switching between their iPhone, iPad, and Mac is effortless, and the controls are super intuitive. It feels like Apple thought of every little detail to make them as user-friendly as possible.
For me, the best part has been seeing how happy they are using them every day. It’s become their favorite thing to reach for — whether they’re traveling, working from home, or just relaxing. It’s rare to find a gift that feels so high-quality, practical, and personal all at once, but this was definitely it.
If you’re thinking about getting these for someone special (or even for yourself), I can’t recommend them enough. They’re not just headphones — they’re an experience. Worth every penny!

Are you looking for high quality headphones that work with your Apple ecosystem? Then look no further than the AirPods Max. These are some of the best sounding headphones currently available. One issue with the AirPods Max is the microphone quality.

The AirPods Max with USB-C sound fantastic, especially when plugged in over USB - the detail and clarity really stand out. What I like most, though, is how easily they move between my iPhone and Mac. The connection feels effortless, and everything just works the way it should.

These AirPods Max have been absolutely worth the investment. As someone deep in the Apple ecosystem, the seamless integration across my devices is unmatched. They automatically switch between my Mac and iPhone - if I'm listening to music on my computer and a call comes in, they instantly switch to my phone, then back to my Mac when I'm done. It just works, no fumbling with Bluetooth settings.
The sound quality is phenomenal. Whether I'm listening to Apple Music or Spotify, the Dolby Atmos spatial audio is incredible - it's like being in a completely immersive sound environment. Music has depth and clarity that I've never experienced with other headphones.
Comfort is another huge win. I can wear these for hours without any discomfort or fatigue, which is rare for over-ear headphones. The weight is distributed well, and the ear cushions are plush and breathable.
Battery life has been excellent too—I rarely need to charge them during the day, even with heavy use. They hold up through long work sessions and commutes without issue.
If you're already using Apple products, these headphones take full advantage of that ecosystem in a way no other headphones can. The premium price tag makes sense when you experience the quality and convenience they deliver every day.

X7I have used SOny XM5, Focal Bathys, B&W PX7, but I got APM too late listening to the reviews but I am wrong, but these are the best based on my listening experience.
Few things which are great compared to Sony XM5 and Focal Bathys,
1. Vocals sound excellent
2. Transparency (beats every headphone)
3. Dynamic sound, and spacious when the music is played
4. When connected to iPad/iPhone, switches to the device and understands where the music is played, best thing is, it transfers to iPhone from iPad when I receive the calls. No other headset provide this.
Ok's
1. Microphone is good but not great compared to Sony XM5
2. Bass is missing for some songs compared to Focal Bathys, but its enough for me as I enjoy the dynamic sound on APM

The AirPods Max have always delivered premium build quality, exceptional ANC (Active Noise Cancellation), and spatial audio that’s hard to beat in the Apple ecosystem. But now, with Apple’s quiet update enabling lossless audio playback via USB-C to USB-C connection, they finally close the gap that audiophiles have been pointing out since launch.
Lossless Audio Over USB-C
The biggest upgrade: you can now connect the AirPods Max directly to your Mac, iPad, or other compatible devices using a USB-C to USB-C cable to enjoy 24-bit/48kHz lossless audio. This bypasses the limitations of Bluetooth compression and makes a noticeable difference for trained ears—especially when listening to Apple Lossless, FLAC, or high-bitrate files. While it’s not full high-res (e.g., 192kHz), the clarity, dynamic range, and separation are improved.
Build & Comfort
Still as durable and comfortable as ever. The stainless steel frame and breathable knit mesh canopy give a unique blend of luxury and function, though the weight remains on the heavier side for long sessions.
Sound Quality
Even before lossless, the AirPods Max delivered incredibly balanced sound with strong bass, detailed mids, and crisp highs. Now, with wired lossless support, the already excellent drivers are pushed further—especially for studio recordings and orchestral tracks.
Noise Cancellation & Transparency
Top-tier. Few headphones match the ANC capabilities of the AirPods Max, and the transparency mode is still one of the most natural on the market.
Battery Life & Charging
20 hours of battery life remains standard, and USB-C makes charging more convenient—no more Lightning cable needed.
Downsides
• Still no power button; relies on case placement or time-based sleep.
• Wired lossless only works through USB-C—not through the Lightning-to-3.5mm dongle or with analog sources.
• Expensive, especially if you don’t fully live in the Apple ecosystem.
Verdict
The addition of lossless audio via USB-C gives the AirPods Max the audiophile credibility they were missing. They’re still very Apple-centric, but if you’re deep in the ecosystem and care about sound quality, these now feel like a complete package.
Rating: 9/10 – Premium sound meets premium design—finally lossless.
