I use these not so much for music but for meetings because I work from home. The way that all background noise is gone and I can focus on what is happening before me is so much better than the previous version I have.

Was very happy with my purchase. I have gotten every generation of AirPods and these did not disappoint. I use them to listen to books on tape while exercising and they are sweat proof and cancel out surrounding noise so I can concentrate on my workout and the story.
