I didn’t expect much of an upgrade from these as I had the previous version. However, when I started using them I have been BLOWN Away by how amazing these AirPod are. First the noise cancellation is top notch. I thought they only cancelled my background noise that I heard, they also cancel out background noise the listener hears as well. I was blowing leaves recently with the blower on full blast but my friend ONLY heard my voice and didn’t believe me when I told them I was blowing leaves. I had to put the phone on speaker for the to actually hear the loudness of the blower and believe me. She was very shocked at how well the noise cancellation works on these AirPods. I also workout with these and I like that they can monitor my heart bpm. I wish they could count steps but I feel that’s coming lol. They have a better fit than the last gen and are comfortable to wear even long periods of time. The battery life is good as well. Overall a great product you must get!!!!! Great job Apple!!!!

The Apple AirPods Pro (3rd generation) are a big upgrade in both comfort and sound quality. Excellent earbuds with outstanding sound quality. The Active Noise Cancellation works very well and makes a huge difference in noisy environments. They are very comfortable to wear, even for long periods, and the Transparency Mode sounds natural and clear. Battery life is great, and pairing with the iPhone is seamless and fast. The heart rate sensing feature is a nice added bonus. Overall, a premium experience that is absolutely worth the price. Highly recommended!

These new AirPods Pro are on another level. The sound is noticeably richer and cleaner than the previous versions, and the bass hits way harder without sounding muddy. The fit is super comfortable, they stay in place, and the new USB-C charging is way more convenient. Call quality is crisp, switching between devices is instant, and the battery life easily lasts all day. Overall, these are the best AirPods Apple has ever made. If you’re upgrading, you’ll notice the difference immediately. Worth every penny.

Great pair of headphones. Coming from a gen 1 AirPods pro, there’s a lot love, but a few things that keep it from being perfect. First the pros: - sounds great for Bluetooth earbuds - the auto-switching between Apple devices works better than ever - noise canceling is a big upgrade - the auto-transparency mode when talking is very convenient - the promise of realtime language translation is amazing for those who travel often - heart rate tracking works welll - battery life has improved substantially from my gen 1s - more comfortable than ever Now the not-so-pros: - removing the pairing button from the case has made it much more difficult to pair to non-Apple devices (in fact, I struggle to activate pairing 98% of the time when I want to, which is frustrating) - while the sound is still great, the bass is a lot boomier, which muddles the mids a bit. I actually preferred the sound signature of the gen 1s more. All said, it’s a great pair of headphones. If they can fix the pairing issue and adjust the sound in an update, it would become an easy 5 out of 5.

The audio quality has taken a clear step forward too, with richer, more detailed sound and impressive clarity that brings out nuances in music I didn't notice before. One of the standout new features for me is the built-in heart rate sensing—it's been a total game-changer during workouts. The readings feel spot-on and super convenient right in my ears, meaning I don't need a separate chest strap anymore, and it holds up reliably even when I'm sweating or out in cooler weather. Comfort-wise, the refined design combined with the new extra-small (XXS) ear tips finally gave me that perfect, secure seal I've been chasing; they stay put without any pressure or slipping. Battery life is another big win, easily lasting through 8 hours of listening with the case providing plenty more for all-day use. I waited few weeks to spend some time with these AirPods Pro 3 before sharing my thoughts in a BeatBuy review. I’m sure nothing I write will be ground breaking. I think these are very good in-ear wireless headphones. I have lots of Apple products and am generally impressed with most things they make, the design is thoughtful and tries to adopt standards and improve on other products in the marketplace. I got these headphones to replace some nice Plantronics BackBeat Sense over-ear headphones whose battery was at end of life. I spend half the time using them for Teams/Zoom meetings, and the other for music, consuming media (video etc), and Duolingo. I really like several features of the AirPods Pro 3: - They are tiny any easy to carry around, the battery case charges them in your back pocket. Also the case is integral to pairing them to other devices. - While they are designed for the Apple ecosystem they pair with BlueTooth to non-Apple products. - The battery life is good in the way I use them, which is often for Teams/Zoom meetings. - The noise-canceling is very good for tiny little buds, and also cancels background noise from your own environment when on a call. - The microphones are very good, delivering clear spoken audio. - The “transparency mode” is as impressive as the noise canceling. In transparency mode the AirPod microphones make it sound like there is nothing in your ears. And, if you want, you can boost the mic levels to amplify your environment, almost like hearing aids. - The gestures (shaking your head to decline a call) and stem controls (answering calls, stopping/starting/selecting music, volume control) are pretty good for a tiny little thing. - The phones & charging case can be located in Apple’s Find My app. - The AirPods buds themselves will charge to an optimized 80% charge, unless you tell them to fully charge. Charging a battery to this level helps prolong its life, as charging above that percentage is harder on the battery and can shorten its life. This is a good feature. As for the things I have some difficulty with: - I have a difficult time getting a “good seal” with the ear tips, which is where full contact with all parts of your ear canal isolates outside sound. I’ve tried all the included ear tips and have even ordered 3rd party foam ones (meh). I think part of the issue is the oval shape of the tips which don’t fully key into *my* ears. I’m sure some other people have no problems. I use the Large tips, I wish there was an Extra Large tip for freaks of nature like me. - I find the out-of-the-box audio equalization profile a bit muddy and bass heavy. If you have an iPhone/iPad, you can change the settings to be brighter for more clarity (which is what I did). I think this is a subjective setting, and many people will be happy with lots of bass. - The charging case sometimes makes random chirping noises, and nobody really has a good explanation for it. Overall, I think they are very good earbuds, not as sonically good as an over-ear headphone set, but really you’re getting them for convenience. They’re competitively priced with Bose offerings in the same niche, they are a good choice if you have an iOS or Mac device, and can function well with Windows & Android devices.
