Apple's Time Capsule is an amazing router that is capable of supporting the latex 802.11ac technology which is quickly becoming the standard is wireless data. Setting up Time Machine back ups on your Mac is super simple. I would recommend having a back up that is at least 115% of the size of your internal computer hard drive, if not larger depending on how much space you are currently using on drive you are looking to back up. With two or more computers in the house, the 3TB solution is a no-brainer.

Easy to install as I converted a prior model airport to an extender for this as our primary base station. Auto backups working well, great coverage through numerous walls and to upstairs. No problems so far.

The router is fast and downloads fast. It was really easy to setup and put together. Another great Apple purchase.

I love to stream content, & the AirPort TimeCapsule seems to do the job so much better than my AT&T router. It's worth the expense for the excellent WiFi coverage & consistent trouble free streaming.

The Apple Airport Time Capsule is awesome. The range is twice what I had before. If you buy Apple or Mac you'll never go back. If you have a Macbook you definitely will want the airport time capsule.

I paid $390.00 for my apple time capsule 3TB plus tax and Best Buy's $50.00 warranty it ended up costing around $460-$470. First time I bought warranty on anything in my life. Well, after the first week the thing kept turning off for no reason at all and not coming back on. I used a different power strip, plugged it into a different outlet...the whole nine yards. Ended up returning it and getting another one. The new one has worked like a charm now for about a month. No problems at all. The set-up and install on this thing was a breeze. I haven't backed up with Time Machine on it yet, but plan to do so once I take the time to read up on how it works best. I'm happy with it. It plays well with me and my wifes mac book pro's. It was expensive.

I had the original and it lasted a long time but it finally gave up. This one was easy to set up.

If you have any mac and need to go wireless and backups, having this airport with time capsule will do the work pretty much. It is worth it since many access points have problems with mac.

Accessing the disk from either PC or Apple devices works very well. The networking component is pretty good as well, although it took a few days for it to recognize an older ASUS tablet.

I love that this tower is not only a wifi router but I can back up my computer and phones to it. So all the pictures I have will be stored here rather than on my computer. Great product

This unit provides superior coverage in a 2 story house. Current cable modem always dropped out and caused son's account to use excessive data. Almost rated a 5 but still having throughput issues. Speed is not what I expected but I think that it is probably due to configuration of cable modem.

I like this hard drive but the one thing they don't say is that you have to connect this to your modem and not the computer and that is what I was looking for but it does boost signal to your computer from your wireless router

It is super simple to set up and even easier to use. You get a wifi network as well.

Out of the box, plug it in, and it works like a charm! Have 3 Macs backing up to it, no problems. Also storing iphoto libraries on there, and access speed is not an issue.

Apple Time Capsule has been a premier backup solution for me for over 8 years. I love not having to even think about backups, and when I mess up and want to revert to the version of the document I created a couple of days ago, well no problem! The WiFi is excellent and provides wonderful reliable signal, so its all in one package, install was pure easy, and I don't have to think about it... just use it when I need to

We have a family of 5 with multiple devices each and this handles it all. The back up feature is also very convenient.

I bought this on sale and even with $50.00 off, this was still pretty pricey. But price aside, it worked directly out of the box. It took me about 5 minutes to set it up not to be the DHCP server, then setup a private network for the my Mac's only, then plugged it in the existing router. The time machine just basically updated itself once it was on the network, then less than 5 minutes per mac to setup time machine to back up to this.... it took a while for each initial backup, but once that was done, the backups are done in the background and I never notice any lag from the backups. Just another product from Apple that just plain works.

Time Capsule is the best of Apple! Not cheap, but it is a great device. Setup is just a matter of following a few easy click instructions. I still had my D-Link connected, and the Time Capsule gave me two systems. The Guest Network would not connect, so I ran the internet line into a router, and connected the time Capsule to that along with everything else. I dumped the D-Link.
