I want to store copies of old family photo negatives and this gave me the way to do it with ease at home. I won't have to farm out the job. LOTS of storage!!!!

If you are looking for doing backups for Apple products, best product. But it lacks NAS features.

unlike other backup tools in the market, ATC backup the memory, status of my mac. general set up is easy, but forward setup, such as limit backup space, is complex.

it has better and long coverage of wifi. Streaming from multiple devises are really well.

Super easy to set up just plugged in works great. Easy back ups for my iMac and MacBook. And really strengthened my wifi connections.

Its another good product by apple but has range issues just like every other router i have ever purchased. Best buy is a great store though as they r always helpful in returns and the geek squad protection is like no other when something goes wrong..

It was relatively easy to install. I live in a rural area and only have 12Mbps so it's important to squeeze all the bandwidth I can out of this great router.

It is a little bulky and you will need room for it. The set up is not as easy as it looks. I tried mine to be added to an apple extreme that I have used for several years now. Well, I used the airport application as recommended. Bad move. It disconnected my entire service (internet) requiring to reset my old apple wifi device. Even that took some time because everything had to be reset to factory default. So, far my new Aiport Capsule is sitting in a corner and I have not been able to use it yet. Defeats the purpose of buying it, since my two gaols were not met: provide hardware space to fre up space in my iMac and extend my wifi range through the house by relocating the other one. Before you buy make sure you understand it well.

I love all things apple and the Time Capsule has worked flawlessly for us over the years. I would recommend this to anybody.

Glad purchased. The device is quiet. Gives me extended wireless range and the auto backup wireless is why I bought. Quick set up with macs and compatible. Did learn the iPhone and iPad backups require first synching the mac and then backing up as part of mac TM backup so that was a learning

Can't go wrong with Apple tech. My old 1 TB Time Machine was packed to the gills after lots of video editing. This 3 TB version did the trick.

Easy to set up w Mac, easily replaced old router, auto back up already saved me!

Easy to understand and install! Can be unplugged until you need it too as sort of confuses WiFi printer reception...

This is my second Apple Airport Time Capsule, 3TB Wireless Hard Drive. The first lasted only 9 months and began to fail, constantly giving trouble lights, and over heating. This one has been trouble free and running smooth. Note: pick up and clean the bottom where the cooling fan is at least every month, as it does collect dust, and pet hair if you have animals! Keep out of the sun, and keep in a temperature moderated room, not one that is over 80 degrees.

This product is great for storing all my special pictures/files & back up systems, I would highly recommend it to all my friends.
