I purchased this item because I have been an Apple user for many years and have great success with their products. This was an addition to my network which consists of two other routers; both Airport Extremes.

needed quick storage device and this did the trick

It works. Easy set up. Apple quality. Good product.

I like the product. However I would have liked to call apple and asked them a quesitons about transfering a selected group of photo's to the capsule. When I called them I was going to have to pay. Don't think that is fair. I am a loyal Apple user. (2 mac books, 3 iphone, 1 ipad).

The Airport is easy to set up in a household of Apple products.

Works great and the easy setup makes a difference.

Have not quite figured this problem out but every few weeks instead of being on a solid green it switches to yellow which should indicate sub optimal performance however I have never noticed a difference Someday I’ll figure it out or you might have some ideas what this could be

It took 3 days to set up the router as it kept dropping only to find out the tier-1 Apple tech gave me the wrong instructions. Once I power cycled the FiOS router and the Time Capsule, the Time Capsule worked like a champ and all is good again. This is our second Time Capsule and we're very happy with it.

I use multiple Apple devices including a mac book and iMac. This allows me to backup all devices and use as an external drive to save and retrieve work not shared on the cloud.

I'm completely satisfied with the Airport. No issues, easy to set up and reliable. Accessibility through WiFi is great. I can be in my living room and access all my files.

My old router needed to be replaced. I chose this one because it backs up data and can be used to backup several electronics. It runs great! So glad I went with Apple!

I miss my old Airport Extreme WIFI coverage very much since I installed the TIme Capsule. I bought the largest TIme Capsule for the automatic back up feature, which I needed. The money investment was high, and can't return it at this point so may as well use it. The wifi connection is so bad that on my 12 year old's Christmas list is this item: "New WIFI." She is tired of the Netflix being unreliable. I wish there were something I could do to fix this. I've asked Best BUy and Apple if I could somehow use the old Airport Extreme and combine the two for better coverage, but they say no. They said I could buy a wifi booster for $100.00, which I may do. But I've thrown a lot of money away for the largest Time Capsule and it shouldn't be a disappointment. I never had a problem with the Airport Extreme. Perhaps I should have bought a separate back up.

This device works perfectly with my new iMac, but is having compatibility problems with a 2 year old Mac Book Pro. If I had anticipated the issues I would have stuck to my old solution that was cheaper and worked better. This may go back if I can’t get it to talk to my MBP.

This product was harder to set up than we anticipated.

Of the new design, this is the first I've purchased. I liked that the tower is tall so it can transmit the signal better but it is my worst wireless network connector that I own. My router from my cable company emits a stronger signal.

What a fantastic unit the quality is Apple all the way seamlessly hooks up to all your devices and will back them up I would definitely recommend this item

I love the peace of mind the Time Capsule gives me. Except for the occasional disconnect from my WIFI, it works great. Truth be told, I'm not sure that the WIFI is not the cause, but I do have to make sure that the connection is maintained.

Great hard drive and the wireless excellent. I will recommend this to all Apple users to download everything and maintain the phone and laptops free of space .

I had a hotspot for this but no Ethernet cable and didn't realize it was required. Other than that, I'm sure it's going to be great to link all my apple products together.

I really love these Apple Time Capsules and am super upset they are discontinuing this great product. Buy now while you still can!!!
