I asked for a way to bridge from my basement to the attic Time Capsule rev1. I was told to purchase this and another Airport base station. Now my throughput is worse however I can now get slow connectivity in my basement. I believe I was oversold a solution I didn't need and now it is too late to return this. The product and advice I received at Best Buy was not good whatsoever. The Blue shirt who helped me was very nice however.

Had to factory reset the unit before it would work properly. After that, it was easy to setup and install.

I have too many wireless items on my current modem (10). I was told that this product would back up all my data but also would accommodate more wireless items and would speed up my WiFi connection. It backs up, as far as I know, but does nothing about speeding up my WiFi items. Maybe I misunderstood, so basically this is an overpriced exterior hard drive to me.

We love the storage feature of the Time Capsule as well. Backing up your devices is so easy and hassle-free. The sleek, simple design is unobtrusive, unlike most routers. I would recommend this Time Capsule to anyone who wants a high-quality product that will last.

I got this to backup my mac's. It works good for that

Though it is wireless and does backup my MacBook Pro, it refuses to back up one of my External Hard Drives and is not easy to just go use it as another accessible external hard drive.

the install process was very simple, this would be an excellent product if not for the wi-fi drops.
