Bought this 3tb time capsule to replace older gen 2tb capsule. Design is improved with a tower shape to raise the antennas instead of being flat. Also more antennas in the router for better signal. Finally, the hard drive being a solid state flash disc is so much faster than the spinning hard drive of the older gen model for time capsule backups etc. highly recommend. Only wish Apple continued to seep and advance this tech instead of disbanding the router division.

My 5 year old Time Capsule was behaving badly...dropping off the network, etc. Since it was only 500GB large, I decided to upgrade to the current generation product and give myself backup room for the three Macs I use at home. Unpacked, plugged in, and was running without a hitch in just a few minutes. Hidden away under a desk, but with room to have air circulation around it, I don't rely on the wi-fi signal it generates, but it is working very well to be my primary in-house backup. Don't forget to use an off-site backup solution as well, though.

If you own a few different Apple products, then you will be very happy with the Airport Timecapsule. It is ridiculously easy to set up (plug it in, and follow the directions that pop up on the screen of your computer). It works seamlessly with other Apple products in Automatically baking them up to the built-in 3 TB storage. I have been very happy with the download/upload speeds. And am also impressed with the backup feature for my work, and the easy to use network manager that can be downloaded to Mac and iPad. I am definitely pleased.

The first time capsule had an issue with the hard drive, so I returned for a second. The second one did not have any problems and it was really easy to setup and get configure.

This product is well made, with apple the more versions of the product they produce the better they get. i love this product and I'm replacing a 1st gen Time Capsule the new one is a very big upgrade from my last one.

I've used Apple routers for years. Whenever I've tried others, there is always smoking of hiccup. Not with this product. Also, something uncommon from Apple, they don't turn this over like so much of their product line.

The Time Capsule is a little pricey, but turned out to be well worth the premium price. The setup is a breeze. No technical knowledge was required. It was so easy. And there were no incompatibilities such as when you buy a non-Apple product. That is worth the price of admission alone. The unit makes backups automatically, so I don't have to worry about remembering to do it. I've set it to back up frequently. My iPhone works well with it, and the range of the WIFI is very good.

I purchased this unit as a replacement for a much older one. It it MUCH faster, easier to set up, and it takes less table space.

It works as a router it's simply amazing, it worked perfect for my Mac and in my house it worked amazingly!! I love it and I will recommend it a lot to everybody!!!

I bought the time capsule mainly for backing up my macbook pro but I like the strength of the wi-fi also. The unit looks good on my bookshelf and is well designed. It was easy to setup and get going. I love it!

Set up was easy. Mac backups are automatic (after initial set-up)- I don't even know they're happening. Wifi range is great. Subtracted 1 star for the high price (Apple knows how to take your money but keep you happy about it)

This is a great addition to the house. I had an older time capsule, but the faster internet speed and additional storage make this a far superior product.

I love this thing. It cranks out a strong signal in a big house with lots of walls to get thru. The 3tb backup is flawless. Just does exactly what it is supposed to do without any hassles...

Out the box and in 5 minutes it is ready to go. Great product that does everything you expect it to with the seamless connection process you expect from a Apple and it's software. I'm suing it to make a portable in house network on top of my existing home network. the built in storage is a major plus. The only drawback is Apple no longer is making any future routers. The product is still supported with updates.

The love of Apple networking! The interface on this even I set it up like an IT pro! Now all of our office machines back up every hour... and you don't even notice! Great system!

This router was on sale when I bought it, couldn't believe the price. Have yet to utilize the time capsule, but definitely provides great range in 1500 square ft apartment.

As always, Apple delivers a great product that works every time, all the time ... 24/7. If you need a dependable product that also looks cool and works great ... just get it.

Hourly backups with a capacity of 3TB, plus fast wireless internet. Easy to set up and looks good, yet not obtrusive to your home decor. Worth the investment

Works great, holds a lot of info and updates on its own. Strong signal.

We have an all apple environment, and this works right out of the box with very little effort or technical knowledge required. Great router/storage combo.
