Airport Time Capsule

Highly recommend this product. If I could change one thing, it would be to make this a 4 or 5 GB unit. Unit is very pricy when compared to other HD backup drives from other manufactures.

Easy to set up and use

I expected headaches both with the setup, linking with the range extender and setting up backups. It literally did it itself - not quite but almost. I had everything connecting Wifi and backing up 4 computers in less than an hour.

However, I would recommend calling Apple to help their support team walk you through it. You don't have to, but they did give me a couple of good tips that helped the setup process.

Excellent speed

I have this unit and four late-model airport expresses, with excellent speed throughout my house. The new guest network option is an additional bonus. Backups are quick and easy. The only downside is that the first backup takes several days to complete over wifi; it would be much easier if I could make a direct USB or ethernet connection for the first backup to happen faster.

Does a great job although very expensive

I have been backing up to this from my Mac since the day I got it and it is fast and reliable. I would like it if there was an easy way to transfer files from an older version of this product to this one.
