One thing i always disliked about ipads was how big they were but this is the perfect size. Also got some paperlike screen protectors and an apple pen dupe off amazon and they have been great accessories for this :)

We bought for our elementary school aged children, but ended up moving to the 10th gen iPad for a larger screen.

That was not great this time. This was a gift. It arrived in hastily wrapped bubble paper that was coming off. The evil part was they stuck a refurb sticker directly on the back of the iPad, and I had to use quite a bit of Goo Gone and Windex to get the sticker off! I was always desperate not to damage the back and ruin or diminish my daughter's delight in the gift. What were they thinking?!?! This was no Post-it note. It was hard glued to the back. All is well that ends well, and it's working wonderfully for her. She's pleased with it.

I’ve used the mini every single day since I’ve gotten it. It’s so much more convenient to use!! The process of trading in through Best Buy was super easy and I’m pleased with the quality of the refurbished mini!

I came with a usb cord but not the plug so that was weird. Upon arrival, I was looking at the best buy site and noticed the same item was $50 bucks less. Because there’s a fee on electronics, it was pointless to return. Just because you’re getting the best deal.

Save a few bucks and get a geek squad certified refurbished item. Its performance has been great and apples parental settings are very easy and effective. I can make sure my child can not just download anything she wants. Face id is required by me for any downloads or purchases made by my child.
