This was a "Geek Squad Certified Refurbished" computer. It would not stay charged and geek squad said it might need a battery but they could not check or fix it, I had to take it to Apple. When apple looked at the machine they said it clearly had liquid damage to the inside, the battery was shot and they recommended to not fix the machine. I asked Geek squad what does it mean to be "refurbished" and they said they plug it in and if the screen comes on it's sold as a certified refurbished machine. I returned it and the clerk said if a GSCR machine is returned it's not resold. So the business model is take in old machines, sell them and hope they work! They are NOT refurbished. I do NOT RECOMMEND any geek squad certified refurbished equipment.

This is an incredibly powerful laptop, and it is so ridiculously light. I recommend this to anyone who needs a laptop that gets the job done better than ever AND lighter than ever.

Product seems in good shape considering used. Turnednon and charge, battery life drains sorta fast but it’s not brand new

Just like new! Bought for my daughter in high school. It was discounted greatly since it was refurbished but you would never know.

The description and the box I received it in said it was a MacBook 2023. I got curious and looked at the serial number. It’s not a 2023 it’s a 2017. The battery dies so fast definitely doesn’t late 10+ hours as described. Brought it to my local Best Buy to return it and they wouldn’t accept it. I feel ripped off but it’s whatever

The best device I've ever buy to my daughter who's going to college soon. She uses it every day to study and do all her assignments. The price was incredible. I wish if they will offer the same deal again so I'll buy it again for my son. The delivery was fast and great packaging. Thank you.

After having the Apple laptop for a few months I have to say it is very nice and user friendly, excellent condition, long battery life and pretty lightweight.

This machine is glitchy. It acts as if there is some sort of lose connection inside where the refurbish occurred. It was purchased for my 14-year-old daughter. She is much more tolerable than I am or else I would have taken it back. The charging cord looks like it is from the early 2000's with is discoloration etc. Very disappointing they couldn't even include a not so old and used charger. Overall, not impressed at all with Geek Squad and would not recommend anyone purchase refurbished items from Best Buy.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. It is in good shape and seems to work well. The only negative I have so far is that it was dirty when I received it.

I’m really happy with this purchase. A new Apple laptop has always been just outside of my budget. Really glad that I found this Geek-Squad refurbished one. It’s everything I wanted at a fraction of the cost of new.

I gave this as a gift and it repalced fhe 2013 version very effectively! Worked great!!
