My son and I were looking for an Apple laptop that could do non-photograph graphics and trying to get a good price. We looked at the MacBook Pro and compared prices with Amazon. We were ready to go with Amazon. Then the Apple reseller raised their price so we started shopping around again when I noted Best Buy had a refurb MacBook Pro for several hundred dollars less than what we were ready to spend at Amazon in the first place. So being this was refurbed by their techs and that I was going to test it at the Best Buy store before taking it home this seemed to be a no-brainer. Plus, the fact that another person bought a refurb MacBook and had no issues cemented my view. After checking out the computer we have no issues to complain about - other than getting used to Apple versus PC and of course, you pay more for Apple products. We are both happy with the purchase. There was absolutely nothing wrong with this laptop. It works perfectly. All the pre-loaded software was in order and compared equally to the brand new laptop. There were no nicks nor scratches so it even looked brand new out of the box.

I purchased this macbook 1 month ago for cheaper price compared with refurbished in apple. It's work well at all. Look like a new product but 400 dollars cheaper. Screen is very awesome. However It's not suitable for a gamer for sure. I have tried to play DOTA 2 on this but that's the last time I played. The battery is a little bit low if you use for hard apps however It's quickly charge around 1-1.5 hours for full energy. Overall FAST, SMOOTH, FASHION and WORTH.

Bought the Geek Squad refurbished MacPro and it's as if it was brand new. Transferred all the data from my old Pro without a hitch. Great machine!

I received this MacBook Pro in the mail today and though it is in pristine cosmetic condition. It only comes with the remainder of the Apple warranty from it's original purchase date which in this case was 6 months. I saved a decent amount of money, but it still isn't worth it in my opinion when I don't know what it's been put through in the past 6 months. The Best Buy website specifies 1 year parts and labor but that is not the case. I called apple to see if they would accept my proof of purchase and reset my warranty and they refused because the MacBook had been used previously with another apple ID for several months. Lesson learned.

I decided to switch to a Mac from a PC. I was impressed that I didn't have to do anything to set it up. Took some getting used to, but glad I purchased this.

Love this computer! Works like a dream, arrived in perfect brand new condition, and hasn't let me down. I've been a PC user my whole life and boy have I been missing out! Amazing machine.

I purchased a Geek Squad certified refurbished Mac Book Pro. When it came it looked and performed like brand new, with hundreds of dollars in savings on my end. Very happy with my purchase!

We got a better price than Amazon - or anywhere else. The machine works great. Perfect for my use. It's been a year since we purchased the Macbook. Everything has worked like new since day one which I am grateful for. I had purchased another refurb from Groupon which worked for 2 months and crashed hard. Fortunately Groupon accepted the machine back and refunded our money.

Product arrived immaculate. Was just like new. Was between a mac and a dell xps but choose this. Happy i did. Build Quality is great, screen is great, sound is surprisngly good. No regrets. Would buy a geek squad certified product again

I needed a MacBook Pro, but didn't think I could afford a brand new one. This Best Buy refurbished one was a great compromise, and I felt confident knowing that Best Buy offers a one-year warranty on their refurbished items! :)

excelant laptop , work differently initially difficult to handle

I bought this Apple 15 inch MacBook Pro manufacturer refurbished on Best Buy's website. It was shipped from a Best Buy in Texas and when I received it I had no volume. My volume had been muted, there was no output from the speaker or headphones. I am a college student that is taking online classes and I have to listen to my lectures. Itook it to Geek squad the next day after I had received it and they had told me that there is nothing they could do to fix it, that I needed to take it to the Apple store. After waiting three days for my appointment, the Apple store told me that it was an internal issue and that it needed to be shipped off to be repaired. I receive my computer in the mail a week later. Apple told me when I was at my appointment that all the manufacturer refurbished computers that they sell are ran through a complete diagnostics and are tested to make sure that all functions of the computer are working properly. I assumed that geek squad did the same.

In love with my purchase... So far, I've had no problems at all with this productIm incredibly pleased!

This is my first refurbished Apple product. Was nervous to take the plunge but this laptop seems new to me. No regrets and willing to look at refurbished times for future purchases when budgeting.

Overall it's pretty good disk time is only 40 hours. But there are some scratches and one dent on the back. Balance of apple's warranty still applies. Apple also sells refurbished at 1699 which may be a better choice.
