    The battery drains even when I'm not using it. The only thing that prevents this is if I power OFF each time and that is too inconvenient. I click the button at the top of the iPad to turn off the screen; I enclose it in my Zagg cover, but nothing seems to put it in sleep mode, so the battery drains, which is not what I want to see when I go to use the iPad the next time. Unless someone can tell me what's going on and how to fix it (without jumping through all sorts of technical hoops) this is going back! And that makes me sad.

    Replaced a iPadAir that was only a few years old because it had stopped working. I thought this latest version of iPad was the newest, latest greatest advertised for the upcoming 11.0 iOs. It is indeed a newer version (date) of my previous iPad, but it offers nothing new from my old one. I had to chase down a clerk and was told this was indeed the one I'd seen advertised. It wasn't. If they had told me I wasn't getting what I wanted, I would have done without my iPad for a while until the "game changer - it will replace a pc" came out.
