This is my second iPad. My first one was so easy and convenient, it was natural for me to replace. I love the gold color, and this one is much lighter and fast than my first. Still easy to use, the updates helped keep me current on use.

I'm not an Apple fan, but I have to admit the quality of the iPad is unquestionable, it works perfect, simply great. The screen quality is outstanding as well as the quality of the images. Did I mention the price? $279, excellent.

I purchased this as an upgrade from my iPad Air, which I had for 3 years. I love the touch ID, which was not a feature on the AIr. It is very sensitive and always picks up my print on the first try. The speed is also noticeably faster, and there is almost zero loading time for web pages. Games and apps load much faster as well. The speed of loading on my iPad Air was never a complaint as it was also very fast, so the increase is just a pleasant surprise. The battery life is even better than the Air as well, which again was never a complaint as the battery lasted days on end for me. I charged this the day I opened the box, which was over a week ago, and I have yet to need to charge it again. Overall, I can't find any negative to mention. Great purchase.

I had been trying add an iPad to my Apple collection but was hesitant because of the prices. Being a part-time working student in nursing school, I have a limited budget. I use the iPad primarily for school and checking emails/YouTube. It is very convenient when a laptop is not necessary and phone is too small. I am able to open PowerPoints in class and do my ATI assignments for nursing school. The color and vividness is beautiful. It is also very fast and accurate as well as light and not bulky at all. I definitely recommend this to any student nurses out there. My 5 year old uses it as well with educational apps which makes it child friendly too. I thank Best Buy for their open box option as this is how I purchased this iPad at an amazing price.

If you’re in the market for a tablet, love the feature and apps that come with a Apple products, you can’t go wrong with the new iPad. It’s very responsive, apps and games run very smooth and the screen is great. Battery seems to last forever and I stream YouTube all day while at work. Almost went for the Pro, but I really didn’t need all the features of the pro, even though I had myself talked into it for a long time. If you stream, browse the web, play games, email etc this is a great tablet.

although the display is not as good as the iPad Air 2, but it is still a solid upgrade from my previous iPad and at a affordable price. With the latest processor, more storage and a better camera, its worth the money.

This is a wonderful upgrade from my iPad mini version 2. My mini had stopped updating the iOS at 9.2 and was just generally slow. Loving the bigger screen and speed. The Black Friday price made it that much sweeter.

I spent $700 on a gen 3 iPad that has been perfect for the last 4 years. I got this one for my wife and am thouroughly impressed. This one is lighter, faster, battery is better and If this one holds up as well as my old one for less than half the price, I'm going to retire the gen 3. Sure, it's not as cheap as one of the android tablets and not as fancy as the iPAd pros, but it does everything that 99% of people who buy iPads use them for and isn't going to fall apart like one of the cheap androids.

Black Friday deal, and very happy with it. Had planned to buy iPad mini 4, but they were sold out. Very pleased with the 9.7 inch iPad. Great size, light weight, fast, and so far happy with everything about it.

If you never had an Ipad before or if you want to upgrade from an older version (ipad 4th gen or older) this is one of the best options right now. If you don't need all the pro things just a regular Ipad this is your product. The best feature in this product is its battery by far, it last a lot, its very light weight and very fast as well. The camera its ok but its not the best camera on a tablet right now, but if you need it for scan documents and taking picture of notes this is a great option.

Purchased for wife too use in her speech therapy. Loaded two apps for her to use and she is doing very well for someone that isn't computer savvy. Battery life is great, it's fast, and easy for her to use.

My three year old I-pad Air had a minor crack in the screen which I could live with, but then the battery failed so it was time for a replacement. This new one is just as light as the old Air but packs twice the memory. Apple includes a suite of Microsoft Office type applications including Keynote which is a presentation tool like Power Point. However, Power Point has more pizzaz with various screen effects for transitioning slides. I will stick with Power Point. Also included is Numbers Spreadsheet and Pages, a word processor. As I already have MS Word and Excel, Numbers, Pages and Keynote are redundant for me. Overall, the new I-Pad does what I need it to.

I purchased this to use for my IK Multimedia Amplitube Guitar based software and recording package I had just purchased for my IPod 16 gig. I just wanted to see things bigger. I was more than surprised at the I Pad detail , the added benefits ( I am also a Kindle Fire User ) and overall quality of this IPad. Also I got it on a pre Black Friday sale so the money spent was a very good bargain. I am so far pleased on this I Pad model. If I had anything to say negative it would be I should have gone the extra mile for the larger hard drive. Otherwise I find nothing wrong to date and find Apple I Pads to be well made and quality so far has been excellant.

I love my 2014 iPad Air 2. But when you see a good deal then you have to go for it. I went to Bestbuy and traded in my old iPad Air 2 and received $150+ and a gift card. I also received a $25 promotional gift card from them after I have purchased the new iPad. Plus I received Bestbuy reward points from both transactions. I knew the iPad (469g) weight more than the iPad Air 2 (437g). It is only 7% heavier. I will lose the anti-reflective coating on the iPad. The benefits upgrading to the 2017 iPad is the fast processor and the 32 GB storage. It will support future iOS version. No regrets. Goodbye to the discontinued iPad Air 2.

Upgrade for a previous iPad. Right away you will notice the difference in the weight, much lighter to hold. The speed is twice that of my old one and the storage is doubled!
