My old iPad was slow.. new iPad is fast, picture is sharp and screen is responsive. Works as advertised

I bought this for my wife. She loves it. She had the old 2nd edition. Could not upgrade IOS anymore. Everything is better for her. It is much faster, the screen is way better. For the price you cannot beat it! She got the Gold one. The only Con was not the iPad, it is that Best Buy did not have a very good selection of covers for her new iPad and what they had was toooo expensive. I truly think that BB is really missing the boat on this one!

I bought this one to replace an older version that wore out. I love its portability, speed and clarity.

Apple's newest gen basic Ipad is a steal. Battery life is awesome. The chipset is fast, even for the basic. The latest Gen even has a bigger battery. It even comes with 32 gigs at the lowest level! I upgraded to this Ipad for my wife after her Ipad Air2 was dropped. We have no complaints.

I'm usually referred as the "Tech Guy" in my family, with friends, and at work. I'm a fanatic of electronics, so I know the differences in specs and hardware between tablets, phones, computers...etc. but this iPad is fast, regardless of all the picky comments that other people have made. An iPad is just not meant to replace a laptop. I got this iPad for $250 on Black Friday, so there's nothing to complain about. Overall this is great iPad!

This was an upgrade from the Ipad Mini. This one is much faster and the larger display is a real plus.

I got this item for a 10 year old. She loves it. The camera is awesome. Just the right size. Doesn’t really know much about tech but she’s very excited about it. Great for when traveling. (I have a portable WiFi). And works well on hotspot. All and all we love it. Couldn’t be more happier.

This is my 9th iPad purchase. I have owed an original iPad, and iPad 3, iPad 4, iPad mini 2, mini 3 and mini 4, iPad air, air 2 and now this new one. They keep getting better with every incarnation. The speed is amazing and the weight is just right!!!

The new iPad is a great all around tablet for the average user. The average user being that of a person who uses their tablet to simply check e-mail, surf the web, and catch a movie or two. As many have stated if you own an iPad Air 2 there is no need to get this tablet but if you own any previous iPad versions I would definitely recommend upgrading. For the price it has the right amount of features and iOS is always easy to navigate.

It's an iPad. Unlike the $700 I spent on one for my wife five years ago or so, this one was $279, which is far more reasonable for what it does. You're walled in to Apple's garden, yes, but it's a pretty big garden, and it does what she wants. My four year old is getting the old one for YouTube Kids. I got that one a kid-proof case (very rubberized), and I got a nice portfolio case for my wife. Overall, you should already know what to expect from one of these, and the latest is barely different than the five year old one, except for the faster processor and better screen resolution. It's still a consumption machine, not a creation machine, but that's fine for its purpose.

Purchased this iPad 2017 as an upgrade to my previous version (iPad 2.. as in the second version released). Definitely a major jump in terms of speed and multi-tasking the latest apps. Not much else I can add - it's a solid piece of hardware that one can easily use for light usage (web surfing, video streaming, emails, etc.). Hopefully Apple won't obsolete this anytime soon by making their iOS and apps more and more resource demanding.

This IPad is awesome! Its faster than my Samsung tab and the screen is huge. So glad I purchased it.

I purchased this for my daughters Christmas present. The speed and memory of the unit are very nice.

This is my 4th iPad. Easy to use, great for the kids, never any problems. Quality is second to none.

I scored this iPad for my son as a X-mas present, but before I handed it over to him I grabbed it for a quick tryout. I dialed up some videos of young women engaged in copulation with well endowed men; you know what I mean. Well, let me tell you, “It was fantastic!” The fancy screen made the videos so clear I could see the spluge flying through the air and landing right on those girls’ faces. Beautiful! This is the best tablet ever.

The new Ipad isn't as large as originally thought but much faster and lighter than the other owned.

I got the iPad as a gift for my wife. She loves it compared to her old Samsung tablet. It is easy to set up and the navigation is just like her iPhone. Being able to synchronized it with her iPhone is a big plus. The screen is larger and the display more vivid than her old tablet - perfect for viewing pictures of our nine week old granddaughter.

Light weight and easy to carry for traveling. All kinds of games and apps will meet everyone’s need.
