It's the perfect mix of size and power. With the new smartphone - it almost doesn't make sense to go with the mini. The new iPad feels small but gives you a much larger viewing experience. At 128GB of space, you can keep all your digital magazines, a bunch of movies and enough music and apps to keep you content for much longer than most anyone needs. Processor is super fast as all Apps just snap - no lags or delays. And of course - screen is awesome., super sharp.

Super light, amazingly slim, and sleek. A8X chip is powerful and fast. Love that you don’t need to shut down your apps when you’re done because Apple has done a really great job in making sure apps that you’re not using will not eat the battery away, which is good for kid use. Put a keyboard on it and you have a laptop replacement for your daily web browsing. the resolution is good on it. When you’re playing some high power games your battery life will fall dramatically. Not a good idea if you’re planning a road trip with kids. Sometimes my photos will not sync up, which is always an apple problem and annoying that apple is the only one to fix it. The speakers are not in the best place as I sometimes have my hands covering them when I’m watching something in landscape form. Hope one day Apple will build a tablet with front facing speakers. Good point to remember is that full brightness will eat double the amount of battery life. Cheaper than the IPad Pro.

Bought this for my wife as a Christmas gift and couldn't be more happy. She had an IPad mini, but was wanting a larger IPad. After waiting 2 years to make this purchase I know it was the right thing to do. This IPad is FAST. We got the WiFi only but it connects and runs at least 3 to 4 times faster than her mini. With the 128GB capacity I don't believe she'll need another tablet for the rest of her life. I highly recommend this product.

Compared to my 1st IPad 1, the Air2 is very light and easy to carry around. I really enjoy being able to transfer pictures from an SD card to the Air2 using the "Lightening to SD Card Camera Reader." It can be purchased at the Apple Store. The camera is easy to use and takes good pictures, Being able to download a word processing program and wireless printer program is a plus. Purchasing an external blue tooth keyboard was the icing on the cake!

I have had one of the original I pads and loved it. I purchased an I pad mini when t he original pad was just too out of date and have enjoyed it. I wanted to go back to the larger screen but didn't want to pay the cost for t he new I pad Pro. The I Pad Air was perfect for me. I invested in the 128 GB as I love to have movies saved for traveling. I couldn't be happier with my selection. So fast, and I love having the bigger screen.

My old one was an original and I just kept getting kicked out of apps. Plenty of space; I guess the processor was just too out of date. New iPad Air 2 is fast and never throws me out. I had cellular on my old one but always used WiFi so I just got WiFi on this one. Great display and nice and light. I set up the fingerprint reader on the start button but it doesn't always read the print too well. Maybe I'll reload my print some time.

It's the latest iteration of the iPad line and it works as expected. I've come to expect boring reliability with the iPads over the years and this doesn't deviate. It's screen is more beautiful, the processor is faster, it's lighter..... everything that Apple has advertised is as it is. I've taken it on long flights and loaded it with movies, and it has seen me through with battery and memory to spare. 128 GB is the way to go!

New Ipad air 2 needs no introduction. Every new generation gets better and better. I waited 2 years before purchasing a tablet and had the chance to try many of them, with different operating platforms (IOS, Android, Microsoft...) borrowing from friends and colleagues and a few store samples that I got from folks I know in the industry Although with a ton of competition out there, Ipad consistently came in at the top of everything I searched and wanted in a tablet. On all accounts, professional, personal, entertainment (and that is ANY type of entertainment or hobby) there are apps to go along. From small children to senior people, the possibilities are endless. Pretty sturdy too. My wife has a generation 2 Ipad since its very first release more than 3 years ago and it is still going strong. Never had a failure or crash and battery life has not decreased despite 100's and 100's of charges. I take my Ipad Air 2 a lot for outdoors activities, field recognition searching for minerals and fossils across the Bay Area and its sturdiness and reliability are simply top line. If you have a good protective cover you can take this tablet pretty much anywhere and under any type of weather conditions. At work, it has helped me to go virtually paper free by taking all my notes on it. No more need for endless notepads and notebooks that take an impossible amount of space and eventually end up in the trash. Here I can have everything with me at all times and organized in a way that is super accessible. All I can say is: simply amazing! totally worth every penny.

This tablet was purchased to replace an older iPad. This new iPad Air has an improved processor, more storage and its even thinner and lighter then my older model. So far it has been problem free. No five STARS because of its price.

I absolutely love this tablet, and I'm so glad I bought the 128gb. It's perfect for everything I use for school and plenty of space for all of my textbooks. I love the multi-tasking option which allows me to split the screen and use two different apps-- perfect for looking at lecture notes while typing a Word document or when typing an email. It's also very lightweight and portable.

Another great product from Apple! Lightweight, too! However, protective cases at my Best Buy weren't widely available. I ended up getting the Zagg Rugged Book directly from Zagg (another pain in the butt). This iPad has fast speed, a nice display and pretty good camera. I got the 128GB for future app expansion. It should last me a long time, especially with the rugged book/keyboard.

It's so lightweight and thin that that makes you want to use it for everything and with a case is still thinner than the original. It's superfast and the picture quality is equally good as my iPhone 6. You can now do video effects like, slow mo, burts mode, and time lapse alone with panorama mode for pictures. The sound sounds is less bassy than the original air but is loud and clear.

This is my third iPad. I travel often from Florida to Maine. I am pleasantly surprised at how light, thin and fast it is compared to previous models. Having maximum available memory has made all the difference for my photos and movies. When trapped in an airport I can keep myself entertained. I considered the iPad pro but get all the functionality I need staying with iPad.

The Ipad air 2 is the lightest and thinnest tablet I have used. All features work as advertised and the camera is amazing. The fingerprint ID is a real cool feature allowing for single handed sign on in a snap. Combined with the protective otter box case and you have a great portable entertainment device . Battery life is excellent. With 128 GIG of RAM this is a top notch tablet

I bought the iPad Air 2 for my wife to replace her Galaxy Tab 2. We replaced her Galaxy phone with an iPhone earlier this year and this completed her transition to iOS. She loves the big, bright, beautiful screen. This iPad is thin and light and lightning quick. It's been flawless so far. Based on the quality of our other Apple products, we don't anticipate any issues.

So exited to upgrade to the iPad Air 2. Our old iPad was the iPad 2nd generation. So, it's quite a leap for us getting the iPad Air 2. -- The first thing I noticed was how light and thin it is. Then you turn on the screen, and wow. The retina display is amazing, and eveything is so much faster than our old one. The family is very happy with the purchased

Bought ths as I needed something bigger than my phone to do research and have access to info I need to carry around. Camera is really sharp and good and it is really light, so get a case. Set up was easy and fast. I go this as a OPEN BOX item so it was even cheaper than normal with the sale price, working as advertised and no problems with it.

This is my first IPAD. I have two Classic 80GB IPODs that I use as backup for my DJ business. I decided to buy the IPAD to become my main DJ backup system. Being able to use Traktor DJ from the App Store is perfect. I have 10,000 songs on ITunes and my IPAD and still have 40GB of space to do other things. It is easy to use and fast as can be.

This iPad was for my 4yr old son. He had a first generation previously and we were coming into speed, connection, and storage issues. This new iPad Air 2 has been perfect. It is thinner, lighter, much faster, and has plenty of memory storage for all his movies and the 100's of apps he plays on. I am in fact purchasing another one for my wife.
