Amazing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to replace my old iPad 2 but no iPad after it was even good enough to replace it with. Even now in my opinion the iPad 2 still makes a GREAT tablet compared to other tablets out there. Well best buy was offering trade ins and I had gift cards and certificates so I decided to bite the bullet and upgrade. And it is fantastic, super light weight and fast the cameras are great. Great battery life as always. Speakers sounds great. This is a device I will be keeping for a long time. I got $180 for my iPad 2 which in my eyes is not bad. I hate selling things second hand I've had to many issues in the past. However, I will be honest. If you have an iPad 2 or newer and you are perfectly happy with it keep it. I wouldn't of upgraded if I didn't have the trade in or the gift cards and what not. I Would have gladly kept my trusty iPad 2. This would be a device to consider if you have the original iPad or a tablet from another company and you are thinking about switching to an iPad.

Finally worthy of the "Magical" moniker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After having been through a 1st and 2nd gen iPad, and watching the product go through 2 more generations since then, I finally decided to go for a new one. The iPad Air is without a doubt the state of the art in tablet technology today. The display is amazing (once you use the retina display, nothing else will do), it's considerably lighter, and it's ridiculously fast compared to previous generations. The battery lasts seemingly forever compared to my old iPad 2. I looked at the retina mini, but decided that I'd rather have the bigger display even if it meant more weight (and another $100). Also, there are some variations in the UI between the Air and the mini -- such as the size of the browser address bar -- that I didn't like on the mini. Got a nice trade-in price on my iPad 2 from Best Buy, so it worked out well.

Another great iPad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tablet is incredibly lite and thin. Very fast processing power. If you are okay with the usual Apple proprietary system then you will not be disappointed with the iPad Air. 16GB is low these days but I don't store photos or videos on my tablet. If I did I would probably go up in memory. Finally, great price on sale at Best Buy.

IPad Air is Nice
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was pleased how thin and lightweight the Apple iPad Air was. The battery life is great. The picture and resolution are awesome. I am very pleased. They only thing I would wish for as an improvement would be louder speakers and sound quality. Other than that this iPad Air is awesome and I would recommend it to anyone.

Nothing Else Compares
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just bought this for my son who is an android fan. This is the 4th iPad my family has purchased- now everyone has their own. As I stated my son is an android fan, but was frustrated with the previous tablets he has owned- all versions of the Nook and his last tablet a kindle Fire. He was tired of the devices constantly crashing, short battery life, and not enough memory. After seeing how happy the rest of the family was with their iPAds he made the switch. He has been using the device for a few months now and hands down he is a fan! Can't compare the overall quality feel of the device- extremely light., images are crisp clear color really pops. iCloud allows for so much storage of music, books etc. that you can manage just fine with the 16g model. PLus iCloud allows for family sharing. Only down side is that there is less free content than an Android device but on the upside of that Apple is very protective of what you can place on your device which helps you to avoid viruses and other bugs- thus prolonging the life of the device. iPad is the only way to go.

Great gift
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought as a gift for my 60+ year old mom. Easy to set up and intuitive enough for her, a tech novice, to navigate ad get set up. Long battery life and light on weight. Paired with Zagg keyboard it's a great replacement for an old laptop. Much more flexible for her to transport.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my dad who is retired and who is interested but not very tech savvy. Easy set up and usability had him on line and looking things up quickly. Good battery life, comfortable size and Apple functionality is easy to follow. Would buy again without a thought.

Love this
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hesitant about buying this. Wanted it, but wondered if it would be worth the money. Can't believe I was hesitant! I use it all the time. Totally worth the money! Can't describe how much I love this. It is easy to use, a nice size screen and very fast and responsive.

Great tablet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an iPad 2 and decided to upgrade to the iPad Air because of the improvement in the screen resolution. The other factor was that the Air was an improvement in the size and weight. Overall the iPad Air is a solid improvement to previous models. It seems the battery life isn't as good as my iPad 2, but it's still very good and I'd consider it a strength. The narrower width, thinner depth, and lighter weight make the iPad Air more usable. I still think the iPad mini is a better size if you want to read a lot of ebooks, but the iPad Air comes closer to being a good ebook reader. iOS is easy to use and runs smoothly. I would have liked to get the next level up in storage capacity, but I couldn't afford the extra $100, but 16 GB doesn't leave a lot of room for lots of games/apps, music, books, movies. It requires the user to be frugal with what's stored on your iPad and what apps you keep.

Lots of fun
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this mostly for entertainment purposes. And it does get used a good deal by everyone in the family... To sum it up, I would say that no work and ALL play... I do have a full bluetooth keyboard but have not found a way to use it as a full work/laptop replacement. As far as the device itself... Its great. Light, great screen, smooth through every application I have ever run on it, and battery life is ridiculously long. I would have expected the speakers to be a little better but perfectly fine on the go. I bought a cheap tablet on Amazon and the Ipad makes it look like a caluclator.

Fastests, most user friendly tablet on the market
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The newest addition to the iPad family continues on a strong tradition of quality from Apple on the iPad line. I was a bit disappointed when Apple released the iPad 3 and then immediately released the 4th gen right after, but they seem to have done this for a purpose and have gotten themselves back on track since. The iPad Air or 5th gen iPad is a remarkable device. It is significantly faster at loading the bigger game apps then my 4th gen and is soooooo much lighter. This iPad is easy to hold in the air for long periods without causing any strain to the user. The interface was significantly changed via the OS7 update for everyone just prior to the release of the iPad Air; however it is easy to tell that OS7 was made for this product. Everything works pretty much flawlessly right out of the box, and can be customized just the way you like it (even by my 84 year old grandmother!). It is not the best tablet for business (as most businesses operate on Windows OS in lieu of the Apple OS) as it does not have a USB port or a already included Microsoft Office functionality (though it can utilize apps to provide this function in a limited capacity. That being said, in my opinion tablets are meant more to be a really advanced, high tech toy than anything else and when it comes to makeing high tech toys, no one can touch Apple products. I highly recommend the iPad for anyone that wants something fun and easy to use.

I my iPad Air!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been a long-time iPad user - received my first one for Christmas two years ago. My wife gave me the iPad Air this Christmas and she will be receiving my old iPad. The product is amazingly fast - that is a huge improvement over my older iPad. It also has a superb display - absolutely brilliant. Its thin profile and light weight are other big improvements over older models. In short, it is a great product.

Great upgrade from earlier iPads
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to upgrade from the iPad 2 to this new iPad Air. Some really nice upgrades include a great bump up in screen resolution, a much faster processor, and a significant decrease in weight. Plus you get the same great battery life and easy to use iOS. If you have an iPad 3 or 4, you probably would not notice the changes as much, but coming from an iPad 1 or 2, you really can see and feel the changes.

You'll like it as much as your old iPad 3

Great product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have an iPad Mini at home as well and this thing is way faster! The screen is incredible and it's very light. This is a good laptop replacement if you couple it with a keyboard (which I think actually defeats the purpose of getting a tablet anyhow), but more importantly, it's incredibly fun and easy to use! If you plan on streaming most of your media, no need to spring for a larger hard drive.
