I replaced my iPad with the iPad mini 2. It was fast and easy to set up, and it is very simple to use. The screen isn't too much smaller than the iPad, but overall it is much smaller. It fits in my purse easily.

She wanted one for christmas, so I purchased this one for her and she could not be happier. The Mini is just the right size. Not so small that it's like a phone and not so big that you don't want to carry it around.

I have enjoyed using my tablet. My only complaint is that it has fixed memory. I like to collect photos on my tablet but I have to begin deleting things after awhile because I only have a limited amount of memory.

This is my second iPad but definitely my favorite, the first one is much larger than this one, I really like the small size of the mini. It's great for travel.

i bought it during the new year iPad sales, the airs, the mini, etc. for $250 shipped (AND after tax). Hence the review summary title. Compared to the Air (v1) it's exactly the same, but it's in a compact size , which I prefer, and it has the best display of all iPads atm. Now, the only thing better is the iPad Air 2 but it's double the price . I also own an iPhone 6, which is like a mini air 2. So they sync, and run well. If the Air 2 starts to drop in price , assuming 6 months to a year, I'll trade this for it, but until then this is my favorite iPad and it suits my preference as I don't really like the extra 2" as it makes it too big for light but constant travel .(I can still show my clients a big enough pictures on this display.)

Bought this ipad mini 2 as a Christmas gift for my mom and step dad mainly so they can FaceTime the grandkids up north but also for emails. No need for a laptop when this mini does the job as well or better.

Bought this IPad Mini for my 9 year old daughter as a birthday gift. It far exceeds both our expectations. I am thinking about purchasing another for myself.

This iPad mini is fast. Retina display is stunning. I got it with very good price $300 including a free case. Can't beat that.

Personally I was disappointed with the iPad mini 2. I was completely not happy with having to turn the volume full blast to hear it and even then it still was not very loud. The resolution and speed were very good and it was easy to use. The price is still kind of steep compared to other tablets in this size. I took this back and got my money back because I was very disappointed in the low volume issue.

The iPad mini with retina display is amazing. It's small but yet can do anything the other do and more and has a great camera!!

My daughter loves this tablet, it has many excellant features and comes in different models for different price levels and memory levels. Screen size is just right, Apple stands up to its name with this product.

I bought this to replace my laptop, as I mostly just used it to browse the internet. For this limited purpose it is quite functional and I have had few issues with it. The screen is a bit small but I've gotten used to it after a couple months of use. Pages load well, it handles apps well without undue lagging or loss of speed. Would not spend the $100 more for the newer version, not at all worth it.

I purchased this as my 3rd ipad, a gift for my 2 year old. She/we use it for educational purposes & entertainment while traveling. This product is easy to use. The 16gb is perfect for little people. No issues

I have had this product for sometime now for my 5 year old son. He loves it, keeps him busy and learning. I also have this same product for my other 3 kids and they haven't failed once. Very User Friendly.

I absolutely love the iPad mini. I bought as a gift . Didn't want to spend the money on an iPad air. I have the air. Wasn't sure mini would be good enough but it is that and better. Screen is plenty big enough

I had been used to using my 3rd gen. iPad (standard size) for about 3 years, but it started to feel heavy and I was in the mood for a new gadget. I got a great deal on the mini and I love the size, but the sound isn't great if you're listening straight from the device. I have to turn the volume all the way up to hear clearly. When I connect it to my Bluetooth speakers or headphones, it isn't bad.

The iPad is the best tablet out there. The newer the better, but for the size, this one is pretty solid. Prices fluctuate from smaller retailers that Best Buy does not match, so keep an eye out for a deal.

Love my iPad 2 mini - perfect for my shopping on line, Email and whatever I want to do with it. The battery life is wonderful- lasts me almost all week.

I bought one of these when it first came out, and just purchased this one for my 80-year-old mother. She loves that it's small and light weight, that she can check her email, and that she can take selfies. :)
