iPad mini is great!

Unfortunately, it is not possible, or too exensive, to revive older Apple products.

Great for portable consumption

I wish it had FaceID and ProMotion, but not a deal breaker. Battery doesn't get me as far either, but is the tradeoff for a smaller device.
