Let me start by saying I've never owned an iPad before. However, I've had several Apple computers and almost every iPhone since the first one launched in 2008. The iPad Mini is undeniably stunning—when I see someone else holding it. But when it’s in my own hands, it feels awkward. Sure, it technically fits into my pockets, but even that’s awkward. It can do many things an iPhone can do, yet the experience remains... awkward.
The device is supposed to leverage Apple’s advanced intelligence features, but even with ChatGPT integration, it feels clumsier than a box of Siris. I love the concept of the iPad Mini, and I can see how it might be useful for those with a specific need for this form factor. However, only a few days in, I find myself ready to trade it in for a MacBook.
What I really want is a touchscreen MacBook with a detachable keyboard. But, hey—that’s just me.

The iPad Mini is exactly what I was looking for — lightweight, fast, and easy to carry anywhere. The display is stunning: sharp, colorful, and bright enough for videos and games. The A15 Bionic chip makes multitasking smooth, and apps open instantly without lag.
Battery life easily lasts a full day with regular use, and the updated slim-bezel design feels modern and premium. It’s the perfect balance between a phone and a full-size iPad — big enough for reading, streaming, or note-taking, but small enough to fit in a bag or even hold comfortably with one hand.
If you need something powerful but compact, this is the best choice. I’m really happy with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for portability without sacrificing performance.

I bought the newest iPad Mini this year on Mother’s Day as a gift for my wife, and she absolutely loves it. It’s the perfect size — not too big, not too small — and super lightweight, which makes it easy for her to use around the house or take on the go.
The screen is sharp and vibrant, and the performance is smooth for everything she does — from watching videos to FaceTime, note-taking, and even light photo editing. The battery life easily lasts her all day, and the build quality feels premium like you’d expect from Apple.
If you’re looking for a thoughtful, everyday-use iPad that doesn’t feel bulky but still delivers great power, this is the one to go with.

I moved from a gen 5 to this gen 7 and am generally liking it. Bigger screen on a smaller body & added flash are my favourite things. It's supposed to be peppier than my 5, and have better resolution, but I don't notice it that much, And happily, the weight remains the same. The touch button is now on the side and is quite narrow, making it very sensitive to recognizing my fingerprint; it takes a few touches sometimes. Also, the interface is now one usb-c (no more 3.5 jack) so although I am able to use my charger from my macbook air, I needed to order new headphones and can't charge and take a call at the same time. The purple is more of a cool rosy grey and very nice. I adore my ipad mini and use it tons. Way better than a smaller phone for reading, games etc, but portable enough to take most places. Because there's still no true phone, his time I decided to skip the cell feature and use my dumbphone as a hotspot when I'm away from wifi. TBH, I use my google phone way more than my phone.

Everything seemed fine other than the fact the outside of the box looks like somebody was eating Kentucky Fried Chicken while packaging it up. This is not professional.

The iPad mini is the perfect balance of power and portability. The size is ideal, light enough to carry anywhere, but still big enough for reading, streaming, and taking notes comfortably. The display is crisp and vibrant, and the speed is impressive; apps open instantly and multitasking is seamless. Battery life easily lasts all day, even with heavy use. It’s also great with the Apple Pencil for jotting down notes or sketching. Whether for work, travel, or downtime, this device has become my go-to.

I recently bought the newest iPad Mini with the A17 processor, and it has exceeded my expectations by a wide margin. It's incredibly fast and responsive — apps open in an instant, and multitasking is seamless. The size is perfect for travel, reading, and general use without sacrificing performance. Battery life is excellent, and the display is clear and vibrant. Well worth the upgrade. Highly recommend for anyone who requires power in a small package!

So far so good and much better performance than the iPad 10. Perfect for the littles as it’s easier for him to carry around. Screen it crisp and battery life is excellent. Unlock and volume control are on the top of the iPad so takes a little getting used to but actually seems like a better spot for them.

The iPad Mini A17 packs impressive performance into a compact and portable design. Powered by Apple's latest A17 chip, it offers exceptional processing power, ideal for gaming, multimedia consumption, and productivity tasks on the go. Its sharp, vibrant display ensures an immersive viewing experience, while improved battery life guarantees a full day of use. While the smaller form factor might not suit everyone, it is perfect for users seeking powerful capabilities in a travel-friendly size.

The iPad Mini 7th Gen is exactly what I was looking for—a compact tablet that doesn’t compromise on performance. The screen is sharp and vibrant, it handles multitasking smoothly, and it's great for reading, note-taking, and streaming. Battery life is solid, and the size is perfect for travel or everyday use. If you want something more portable than the standard iPad without sacrificing speed, this is the one to get.

I will start out by saying that I bought my iPad, as an open box item and am very impressed with the condition. I saved over $25 vs an unopened item and got something that looked brand-new. I bought this item, as my older 11" iPad Pro was running out of space and I had just gotten a new MacBook Air, so I really did not need another bigger iPad. I am very pleased with my purchase, especially the size, as it easily fits in one hand. It is a nice size between my larger MacBook Air and my smaller iPhone. Also 128GB storage is double my previous iPad and will be more than enough space to store all my apps and files. The display and processor are also very nice and almost more than I need. On the down side this item seems a little pricey even for Apple when compared to some of the other iPads currently on the market (did use gift cards and rewards, so I really did not have to pay the full price, plus I got this item on sale). In all I am very happy with this iPad, but not pay full price for it.
Exactly the quality I’d expect from Apple products

I needed a new iPad mini after my mini 4 finally bit the dust & couldn’t stream anymore. Got this on sale during the Techtober event for $399 instead of the regular $499 price. Only use the tablet for streaming & reading & both functions are excellent on this iPad. Very responsive with opening & switching between apps. Lightweight & the screen quality is insanely great. I got the 128 gig because I don’t really put a lot on my tablets except for iTunes music (I read through Libby) so if I wanted to do more I’d size up in space. Sound is clear & I like that it’s USB-C & more universal. I like there’s a place for an Apple Pencil & you can enable touch to open with your finger. Battery life is amazing too - streamed football almost all day on Saturday through Xfinity & ESPN & still had battery to spare.
100% recommend to anyone who is looking to upgrade your iPad mini - definitely worth the price (especially if you can trade in your old tablet for credit).

The iPad mini is super portable and is easy to carry around, even in a small purse. I mainly use it for note taking and it’s the perfect size of not being very large and uncomfortable but big enough to comfortably see the contents of the screen. I also haven’t ran into any performance issues and for basic note taking, media consumption and some doodling, the iPad mini is more than capable. For the power, price and portability, I would definitely recommend!
