I had an iPad loaned to me to determine if it was something I would use enough to justify the expense. As I became more familiar with it, I knew I needed my own. I was very glad I chose to get the 3/4G version. It has had flawless accessibility to my cellular carrier (Verizon) and, for the most part has been lightening quick. I use it for everything: calendar, notes, lists, Internet, music, social media, books, magazines, photos, email, movies, gps, and numerous apps that help me in my work duties including expense tracking etc. I have nearly replaced all other electronic gadgets and really have no use for my iPhone anymore...except for the occasional phone call...and even those are few and farther between because of the FaceTime feature on the iPad. Camera is great, battery life has been good too. If I have any tiny complaint it is that the charger is unique from all of the other iPhones in the family so I have to keep track of this one power cord! So glad I bought this iPad w/ 32G!

The new fourth-generation iPad is the best iPad. It's the fastest iPad. But it's no longer the smallest iPad, or the most affordable. That changes the perception of Apple's larger tablet seemingly overnight: this is now the professional-level performance device, the laptop alternative. Who are we kidding? It's still pretty portable, and at $499, it's decently affordable. For those who care about the best screen, excellent battery life, impressive performance and the greatest compatibility with cutting-edge apps, look no further. Others may choose the iPad Mini for its compactness. In the long run, the iPad Mini may be the most successful iPad. Today, I still think that award belongs to the larger, classic version, but by a narrow margin -- and mainly because of that Retina Display.

Got this for my lady as a birthday gift. She was completely surprised and more than ecstatic! It's the perfect tool for her to use on a daily to keep up on all her online needs. It's lightweight and compact with a large screen. It's fast and easy to use. It's very intuitive and she absolutely loves it! I'd recommend this iPad to anyone looking for the perfect mini computer.

This is an amazing piece of technology. The screen is top notch. It is super easy to set up and use. The only bummer is you can't expand memory but that is just an Apple product issue. Videos looks top notch on this!

My iPad 2 was having some problems, so I brought it in with the extended warranty that I bought when I purchased the pad. I told the Geek Squad rep. what Apple had told me about the problems, and they told me they'd swap it out, no problem. The guys were great. As the store didn't have any iPad 2s or 3s, I walked out with a new iPad 4. I also changed from AT&T to Verizon to take advantage of the LTE of the 4. It's like night and day! Sooo much faster, and the screen is really sharp. I know you pay more for Apple, but some things are definitely worth it! And definitely spring for the extended warranty. Best Buy is *fabulous* at honoring it!

Having recently joined the Apple party because I despise Microsoft, I decided to add the iPad to my devices. It is more expensive than others out there, but I can't say I am disappointed with it. The screen is beautiful and the syncing with other Apple devices is nice. I have yet to figure out how to sync photos to iTunes and erase them from my device but still have available for viewing (without using the cloud). I wish it had slots for external memory cards/sticks for portability of information or media, but maybe on a future upgrade. (Hint). It's a wonderful product and I will enjoy expoloring all its capabilities in the near future.

We really enjoy it!! It is light and small enough to travel with and we enjoy the fact that we can sign on to the internet with Verizon. The camera has really good quality and we have used it lately more then our everyday camera. It is easy to navigate the web with also. I would recommend this to anyone!!

I absolutely love the iPad, the display is crisp and clear. I would highly recommend also purchasing the ultra thin logitech keyboard along with it since it makes typing on the iPad a lot easier! Also, don't worry if your iPad takes really long to charge, mine takes several hours to be fully charged, but the iPad lasts a lot longer. I was initially worried since my friends had older (30-pin) model iPads that charged a lot faster, but they also died a lot sooner. Overall, excellent investment!

There are many things I love about the Ipad! I love doing face time with my grand daughter I get to see her and not just talk on the phone. I love imessage and sending messages and pictures or a video. I like the fact that the ipad is fast and the retina display is beautiful. I like ibooks so easy to read with good light from the screen. It is small and light weight and easy to carry everywhere. I have had my ipad 4G since Christmas and have more to learn but so far I'm in love with it.

The iPad is a really cool tablet in general, but account set up can be annoying. Pricing wise, it is still one of the more expensive tablets on the market with the least amount of customizations on the operating system. It does come with a mindset of "it just works, but only within the restrictions we have set for you". In otherwords, it comes with a much more attractive set of apps that will get you started with minimal tinkering

Due to an accident that has left me with little to no use of my right arm and hand, I needed a light-weight yet powerful replacement for my laptop. After conducting extensive research and speaking with fellow technicians about such devices, I decided to purchase this iPad. Having used Microsoft-based products my whole life, starting way back in the day with DOS 5.0, I was a bit concerned about the learning curve associated with moving to an Apple-based product. But, as it turned out, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to learn to use the iPad. I was quickly able to find apps that allowed me to use my iPad for most everything work-related. And even though the apps have either been free or have cost next to nothing, the ones that require some sort of data entry have voice-to-text capability built into them. Talk about value-added! Because the apps had voice recognition built into them, I no longer need to purchase the popular voice recognition program which I had planned to buy to help me keep up with my paperwork. That savings alone covered nearly one third of the cost of the iPad. Since I purchased the model which has both WiFi and Cellular built into it, I am able to connect to the Internet even at remote locations where broadband is unavailable, but can take advantage of existing WiFi networks to help keep my cellular data usage at acceptable levels. To sum it all up, the iPad a beautifully engineered, small, light-weight yet powerful device, the battery life of which is easily twice that of the laptop I was using, that makes doing my job a whole lot easier.

This is my first IPad and I've been using for 3 weeks. Extremely useful! exceptionally easy to use. I'm using for study and research and the ibooks that I've downloaded are easy to access, highlight, and save. The retina display is so clear it feels like you are right in the middle of all the action whether you are looking at sports, the woods, ocean or other travel photos....feels like you are right there.

I had an Ipad 3 but did not get the Verizon access with it. Don't make the same mistake I did, just spend the extra money and do it right the first time. I love the Ipad and after having a tablet and computers that are always full of glitches, I am done. Switching to Apple.

We were looking for a tablet that we could take anywhere that was lightweight and "easy to use". Our friends recommended the Apple Ipad. We researched the different tablets, read the reviews ,and choose the Apple ipad with retina display. The clarity of the screen is awesome. We downloaded the Ipad user guide for current and future reference.

Tons of great free apps, extrememly portable/convenient and easy to use. The size is small enough to carry around, but big enough screen to watch shows. Seems indestructable so far (I do have a cover) so the kids use it all the time. I would like some way to set parental controls on the entire device to enforce time limits for kids to use.

This is my second iPad. The first was a wifi-only 1st gen. The screen and speed of this 4th gen model are both great. I use it extensively at work to take notes and work with PDF documents. The LTE is fast, and Verizon is a good provider in the Gainesville area.

This ipad has good speed and is very simple to set up. The clarity of the screen and pictures surpasses all tablets on the market.

A most valuable instrument for business. Ease of operation and the size is just perfect. I have had Apple products since the first MacIntosh. I love my IPad!!! It's a little pricey, but it pay for itself for a while. Photos are beautiful!!!

I love the portability of the ipad. It,s fairly easy to use for a beginner at any other device than a desk top computer. The color and ease of use of the camera produce spectacular pictures. However, despite being assured to the opposite, I cannot read my books at the beach. As I'm an avid reader it's a huge disappointment.
