Good product, but not revolutionary. The screen resolution is definitely a plus, as are the available apps. However, don't fool yourself: the iPad is not a laptop replacement... Overall, I'm fairly happy with my purchase, although I wish that Apple didn't exert so much control over the user experience - Apple doesn't always know what is best for everyone - and allowed users to tweak and configure more of the experience (I guess that is why so many users Jailbreak, although not the iPad3 yet...) On the less positive column: battery life is not great, unless you significantly dim down the screen and do not use any app that uses CPU juice. As many have reported earlier, it runs kind of hot. Make sure you keep it away from your crotch :)

I have worked with desktop PCs for years and this was the first true mobile computer I have owned. Where do I begin? Is it the online science, gaming information, other research that I read anywhere and at any time that I was paying up to $140.00 a year for paper magazines to read on my lunch hour? Is it the new car I just bought that I negotiated the best price all through email from this IPad? Oh and I calculated the best price for the car using a free spreadsheet App. Is it the games like Mass Effect Infiltrator or a free exoplanet app that helps me track the latest exoplanet confirmations? Is it the security features that let you not only lock it with a code but erase everything after 10 attempts? Is it this free reminder app I found that helps me remember things that need to be done? Is it the map app that pin points where I am so I can actually find something or is it listening to Pandora in my new CAR that I bought using my New IPad?!! For me the IPad is not an excuse to leave the PC but an ability to compute and get something done when I am not at my home PC.

The new IPAD is totally worth it and significantly faster than the old one (ipad2). Noticeable difference is the ability to do multiple web pages without any lag. Verizon IPAD is blazing fast. I had to return the AT&T ipad as it was slow and didnt have the coverage

Let's start how heavy it is, are you kidding me? The battery it twice as big as it was in iPad 2 and still 4-5 Hour is MAX you can pull out of it, and I mean with lowered brightness and 4G Bluetooth GPS etc turned off, and charging time is 7 HOURS, I repeat, ri-do-co-lous, the screen starts showing up Dead pixels after just few days and the format makes all movies show up with black bars unless you have movie in very old 4:3 Format. and the iOS itself is lame, absolutely NO personalization, you are stuck with all icons just sticked in home screen with no options of hiding them not to mention lack of widgets It's made to be simple till it hurts. The smart cover which was sussposed to protect it SCRATCHES the side of it. The front camera is VGA when I made first call with skype my friend first words were ''Oh god, I can only see pixels'' This is first and LAST product of Apple I will ever buy, commercial overpriced toy.

I had the iPad 2 and loved it - couldn't wait to upgrade for the picture quality. Photos are clear and sharp - love the camera.. So easy to move around from app to app.

I'm so glad I brought the 16gb, it's plenty of memory for me. I do alot of checking emails and internet search

Almost perfect except for,,,wish it had a USB port. Also has a lot of trouble connecting to wifi. For the price a very good addition to the computer world. For traveling it's a nice size rather than carrying a laptop computer.

After getting an IPhone I was hooked on Apple products. The iPad 3rd gen. blows me away. I guess the next purchase will be a Mac . I am done with the windows operating system. Apple all the way.

At this time in the tablet revolution it is a great product when compared to the competition. I am moving from a laptop to a tablet and it fits the bill. Aps are very cool.

I've been wanting an iPad since they debuted, but I am glad that I waited for this 3rd generation version. I've owned a iPhone since the 3G, so using the iPad is a breeze. The screen resolution is unmatched. No complaints or regrets on my iPad purchase.

Very happy with my new I-Pad. Love, love, love it. Very portable and take it with me everywhere. Best buy sales person was great and made my purchasing this product very easy and much faster than I thought.

Another quality product from Apple. I love the ipad. Just a lot more expensive than the android tablets. But you get what you pay for.

I started off with an IPad 2 and I was in love. I traded my iPad 2 in thinking this one would be even better! WRONG! Bad choice if I do say so myself! It constantly freezes and the picture quality is horrible! There is so much gray! If you buy an iPad stick to iPad 2 all of the flaws are worked out! The apple product is phenomenal and a groovy investment! Just not this one yet!
