Case was advertised as brand new and I was clearly sent a used case. Case came in original box, and from what I can tell by YouTube videos all the original inserts; however, the hard plastic insert for where the phone was inserted was behind the case. The box was very beat up but thankfully it did appear to cause visible damage. 3-star rating is due to paying New price but receiving an open box item. Case itself I would give 5-stars but on principle I can not give 5-stars due to receiving an obvious open box item. I included picture of the box but did not think to take a picture of the hard plastic insert behind the case because I realized after watching a couple YouTube videos the insert should have been where the phone is placed.

Material feels great and fits the phone perfect however the design of the “folio” closure is unfortunately not worth the price. Does not stay closed and can only hold 2 cards at the most. A magnet to help hold the folio down would’ve been great

I had this case for the iPhone X as well and it was great. Pros: allows me to not need a wallet which is huge less stuff to carry. I can fit 4 cards in CC slot comfortably and they never fall out because so tight. Also the magnetic auto on off is great. Well made nice quality leather. Protects the screen as well. It looks great and feels premium. Cons: there aren’t many it would be nice if had a magnetic closure to keep closed all though it’s never bothered me that much. The price I paid 129.00 which is a lot but considering it replaced my wallet it evens out. Overall I highly recommend this case I buy other cases non wallet but always revert back to this case because I love not carrying multiple things more stolid to lose. Also if lose can use apples find phone app. I highly recommend.

This case is very nice quality leather. Very sturdy. Slim profile for a folio. My only complaint is that it doesn’t have a magnetic closure.

I’ve had my case for 5 months & it holds up to everything I put it through. Quality is still like new. Has place to hold small receipts, credit card or even my driver’s license if I want to carry the bare necessities. Would buy again in a heartbeat. Same case, different size on my last 3 iPhones over the past 6 years

I had this same case on my XS (different color) these are by far my favorite choices for cases. Color is beautiful. Quality is excellent. It’s definitely my favorite case. I wish they had a few more options (Apple) like this same case without the cover flap. I would 110% recommend this case!

Purchased for my wife. She really likes it. Only it does not turn off screen when closed. Since it's a newer phone we set the timeout to a shorter period. It's leather and looks nice. We also bought it on sale, about $40 off.

Bought it for my friend, employee had one for his phone and showed off the material and how long it last & the color it changes to after a long period of time was perfect fit for what he wanted

Very well made and fits as it should. I wish that it Closed more securely. It just folds shut.

Excellent case! Nice option to store credit cards and has a cover for extra protection

This case is elegant and since it flaps closed it can protect the face of the phone, but; it is too slippery and can be awkward when actually talking on the phone, and even more so when using the back cameras. I went back to using Apple’s silicone case.

This will be the second leather folio I've had from Apple. It fits the phone very well and provides very adequate protection from small drops like stepping out of a sedan and forgetting the phone is on your lap. My only complaint is that the larger pocket seems to be a bit loose so if I keep things like a stamp in there without also having cash, stuff sometimes falls out when I open the case.

This case is simple and well built, but it is a poor case in many ways. It is slick, so it slides around quite a bit and your cards do not stay in the given slot very well. For a case at this price, I expected more. I would recommend looking at the Best Buy branded wallet case. If you are willing to look elsewhere, I would look at the Burkley Case or Twelve South. Both of these are high quality and the phone is magnetically held in the case. So, you can put the wallet in your pocket and just use the phone.

This case is the bees knees. Feels great in hand and eliminates the need for a wallet. Fits 3 cards comfortably and a couple bills without looking too bulky. Open to wake function is perfect. Only con would be its WAY too expensive. But I had this same case on my iPhone X I had to get it for my 11.

Love this folio case. This is my second one. First one was pretty durable and it saved my phone from numerous drops. Also like that I don’t have to carry a wallet anymore either. It’s a bit pricey but the quality is good.

It’s a bit expensive but the product is great ! Got it for my wife and it’s still going strong very durable and must buy if you need a wallet type case.

This replaced my wallet. I keep credit cards, license, etc. and I’m good to go. Very durable. Have had this same case for both this phone and the iPhone X.
