If I could do half stars, it would be a 4.5 for me. After a month of use, I like and recommend this case. Pros: Amazing extended battery as advertised. Case protects and covers the entire phone. Inside of case is a suede like material that will not scratch your iPhone. Cool dedicated camera button for instant access. Both your phone and case charge when you charge your phone which is cool. Or you can charge your phone and case separately, but the simultaneous charge is awesome. Cons: Adds quite a bit of weight and thickness. It is expected since it is essentially an attached battery, but it really is noticeable carrying it around all day at work, gym, school etc. The coating on the case is a soft felt rubber, and while it looks slick and premium when new, the friction from going in and out of my pockets is already wearing the material away. You do not turn the case charging feature on or off, it always remains on. You might be worried about battery health but Apple has assured that it’s “smart” capabilities allow the battery to charge depending on how you use your phone. It would’ve been nice though if it had a small switch to turn it on or off as you need it. Overall I recommend this case. I got it for $50 on sale, a steal honestly. Can’t go wrong with first party Apple accessories. Maybe wait for a sale? Minors gripes, the case is great.

I bought this case used in excellent condition from Best Buy so save $30 and once it came it, it would NOT charge. I figured it was just dead and it would take awhile for it to charge, so I charged it for an hour and it was still dead. I was extremely excited to use this case because I am a heavy phone user and this would've helped me tremendously.

Apple-branded hard case / spare battery combo that is worth every penny! I don’t spare expense on my smart phone protection - to not do so would be a fool’s errand considering the monetary investment these days to own one. I’m already on my third Apple iPhone Hard Case + Battery Pack for a reason : it 100% protects your iPhone from all the errors humans make: the spills, drops, flops, etc. Don’t let that small amount of space between the case and the screen fool you; I’ve dropped my iPhone hard onto concrete face down and, after suffering a minor anxiety-inducing panic attack ad I expected a cracked screen upon picking it up, I immediately realized there wasn’t a scratch ANYWHERE. The age life of this product is several years longer than a third part version depending on hmu you use and abuse your phone. Which, naturally, happens a lot for most people. Having the extra spare battery (an entire extra iPhone’s worth of power upon full recharge!) saves incredible time and situations where my phone might’ve died otherwise without it. The one main “issue” is that this particular hard case/battery combo is heavier and bulkier than third party versions but that’s due to the comments I made above. I’ll take a small bulge in my pocket with the hardcover version of a tank plus van entire extra iPhone battery’s worth of power over a slim, not-as-sturdy version any day of the week. Plus, you’ll adapt easily and eventually that extra weight feels like nothing at all. Standing ovation to Apple design team for this product!

I have always been with Mophie since my iPhone 5. I Love the Apple Case material, really nice and I think better protection as well. Sleek sleeve is nice also, rather than the two part Mophie which always breaks. However one thing I do not like is the constant run, unnecessary charge of the iPhones battery. It is not a good function. I can manage my recharge time better than that. I have better battery life when I activate it, as I need it. I have learned to master this issue for almost a decade and its best when I can say "charge" rather than this constant thing. So get a way for users to control the charge demand with disrobing the unit from the iPhone and compromising the protection. Fix that!! Another need is possibly increase the external battery. Lastly the price point is at the max for this product even with the changes requested. If these issue are resolved, this will seal this product as an AWESOME device for its designed purpose.

So the case definitely adds weight, it is bulky, it's going to cost you, but... I don't have to charge it nearly as much as I would if I didn't have it. I use my phone all throughout the day: email, texts, FaceTimes, phone calls, video, pictures, you name it. The camera button feature is very convenient to use as well. All and all, very practical accessory to the iPhone 11.

I have been waiting for Apple to come out with this case since I upgraded my iPhone. This is a necessity for me as I use my phone constantly for work and having an extra built-in battery is awesome. The ones that are knock-off brand don't come close to this one. The phone recognizes it as a "brother" in a sense and the flow between battery energy is seamless. It makes the phone heavier, sure, but you get used to it quickly. I think the white color of this version is a bit warmer toned/cream than ones in the past and it seems to be a slightly different texture that holds color transfer easier (makeup, etc.) so that is a pain...but worth it. Don't get a different brand..pay extra and get the real thing. You won't be disappointed.

Overall, a very good battery case. It is heavier than a regular case, so if you’re looking for something light, this won’t work. The price is the only major downfall. It is overpriced, but I don’t have any complaints on the product. I will add that the way you have to find the battery level for the case is not the most efficient.

I’ve had this case for about a month now and I wasn’t sure if I really needed it but I’ve grown to appreciate having the extra juice when I’m not able to plug this thing in. The case can be recharged using a Qi wireless charger. It also has a button on the side that engages the camera. Definitely a nice case, with good grip.

I love this battery case. It keeps my phone charged and has a nice feel to it. It charges either wirelessly or you can plug in a lightning cable to charge it. It does make the phone a little bulky but I don't mind that at all.

With this in place, my phone can operate two days without charging -- perfect! The phone's footprint does grow substantially and for those of who for whom your phone is a fashion statement, this is probably not the right buy. But for anyone who prioritizes utility over thinness, this is your product. Docked to four stars because the material will tear at stress points over time.

I travel a lot for work whether by car or plane and hated always dreading the low battery before my day was over. I purchased this case because I wanted to never worry about running out of battery or having to carry a charger with me during the day, but the fact that this case also wirelessly charges and is built by Apple to work seamlessly with my iPhone makes it a no brainer! Love that I can see the battery on my phone of both the case and phone. I can easily go 2+ days without charging and still be operational!

The new battery case adds 50% more power to the already impressive battery life on iPhone 11 Pro Max. There’s also a dedicated camera button for launching the built-in Camera app from anywhere including the Lock screen. every battery case is bulky, but Apple feels nicely proportioned; the new camera button is perfectly located and enables accessing the Camera app instantly from any app, and it’s easy to sip through the case’s battery in a few hours. The camera button even works after the battery case reports 0% battery remaining.

This case is nice if you need the extra juice. However, it’s a little heavy and bulky.

I loved the extra battery life and the silicone finish of the case, but it was just too large and heavy to get used to.

This is an excellent battery and case at the same time. It's a bit heavy and you have to use both hands no matter what. However, I put this baby to the test on a normal use and the combination of both batteries lasted 4 days. So if you are a heavy user or travel, this is a great addition specially if you but it in sale like I did. I recommend it.

Not as heavy as expected. Lasts all day and then some. Just wish was more black in color.

This is the best battery charging case available for iPhone, hands down. Each time I have upgraded my phone or my wife’s fall for that matter I have bought one of these cases and they have offered excellent battery life each time. I have dropped mine at least two or three times and with a screen protector this case has protected my device and it still looks good too.

If you have an iphone 11 this battery case is life changing. This case let me go from worrying about charging at the end of each day to having to make sure i remembered to charge my phone every 2 days. Its bulky but the extra battery life is amazing.
