I wanted a phone that I could carry in my shirt pocket, so I traded in my iPhone 8 for this “little” guy. While the Mini is physically smaller than the 8, the actual useable screen is much larger - enough to add another row of icons. But even though this is Apple’s cheapest iPhone 12, it has the same speedy processors as the other models. When out geocaching, I find it converges on the target much, much more quickly than my old phone. Not a heavy gamer or streamer, so the battery lasts all day for me. This was a potential concern, since the Mini has the smallest battery. This phone uses Face Id rather than the Touch Id, so it’s a little less convenient to unlock.

The last iPhone I owned was a 3GS over 10 years ago, ever since I had switched to Android and was hesitant when looking for a new one if I should switch back. My boyfriend convinced me and I boy am I glad- this is a great phone!! The color is beautiful and so cute, I got a clear case for the first time to show it off. The size is just right imo, as phones just keep getting bigger and bigger nowadays...the mini really appealed to me because of this. I'm someone with small hands so this wasn't a problem for me at all. Not to mention the amazing speed of iOS and the incredible cameras, this phone has it all! Not having a home button takes some getting used to, but I love that the screen is edge-to-edge. All around, I'm so happy I got this phone and honestly don't think i'll be upgrading for a long time after as for me, it's perfect.

After several years with an iPhone 5, I was looking for an upgrade. The iPhone 12 mini was a fit for me since I do not like the larger phones. The 12 mini is just slightly larger than the 5 but still fits in my shirt pocket nicely. Many new features but I am a simple user so not using most of them. Much better camera and the screen is supper nice since it is OLED. Startup is much faster with more memory than I will ever use. Battery lasts about 4 days

My first smartphone was the iPhone 5C. At the time, the size was the standard and it easily fit in my pocket, and was easy to use. It lasted me for several years, before it became too slow, and battery life wasn’t the greatest. However, phones started getting bigger, and IMO more cumbersome. Fortunately, the first SE came out, and I got that one. Once the same issues befell this model, I was really apprehensive of upgrading, because the new standard in size of phones was just too big for me. Then, the 12 mini came out! Hallelujah! Not only is it the most advanced iPhone to date, with 5G, but the right size for my taste! While it’s a smidge bigger than my past phones, it feels way bigger because the screen covering the whole face (minus the camera & speaker notch). It runs my apps great, and the camera is amazing! So happy with this phone!

I love this upgrade going from the iPhone 6s to the 12 is like night and day the 6 generation difference really shows. The 5G speeds, oled screen, and look of the 5s makes the iPhone 12 a great choice if you want improvements in speed, camera quality and network connection.

I love my Apple iPhone 12 Mini because of it's small compact size. I'm able to put my iPhone 12 Mini in my shirt, short, or pant pocket. The camera takes great pictures and videos. Fully charged, I can use my iPhone Mini all day.

This phone is great. It’s fast, and has a beautiful screen as well as a great camera. I have not upgraded phones for a long time because I did not like the huge mini tablets that phones have become over the years. But I finally upgraded from my iPhone 6 to this iPhone 12 mini because it was the same size as my old phone. The only reason I am not giving this review a full 5 stars is because it lacks a headphone jack and a home button. To replace the headphone jack for my car stereo, I had to purchase a dongle for my lightning cable which is a tad bit annoying. It’s annoying but still a valid work around. As for the home button, sadly, I haven’t fully gotten used to the new way to navigate easily. It’s a bit awkward to transition from app to app since I have to find the “sweet spot” without accidentally clicking a random button or hyperlink. Anyway, all in all, it’s a fast phone, and gets the job done for my needs with a little bit of caveat that I hopefully can learn to deal with as time goes on.

Bought this phone for our daughter for her birthday. It was an instant hit! She loves it and the size is perfect for a young girl (9 years old). We were reluctant to get her a phone at this age but it gives us a peace of mind while she is at school or at a friend’s house. It has a good amount of storage, easy in integrate into our family’s iCloud account and has good battery power for the size.

First off, the price was outstanding. No doubt the next version of iPhone will put this to shame, but I doubt it will be as cost effective. Second, the size is great, plus it has the Pro chip in it. Third, the people at Best Buy (esp. Kel) were outstanding in their service. Borderline unbelievable, I was beginning to wonder when their patience with me would run out, but it never did.

Great back up phone. Works great. Use for emergencies

Nice phone. The lack of a home key is a major mistake, as is the placement of the lock key. The phone is still slightly larger than it needs to be. Battery life is good. The new charging cable was unnecessary as was the new charging block (not included. I mean, come on!) If you're an Apple user and comfortable with Apple phones, this is a good choice. The normal Apple "find another way to charge for things that other manufacturers include" is a minor annoyance, but still an annoyance. Someday, the minor annoyances will add up enough for me to change to a different manufacturer.

Nice phone, great camera. My last phone was 5S. There are a few differences I had to learn about operation it, but it didn't take long to figure things out. I was also pleased to find out it was just a little bit larger than the 5S, I wasn't looking forward to phone that was too big to fit in my pocket. I really do like it!

I upgraded from an iPhone 8 to this 12 mini. I like the smaller size because it’s easier for me to hold. It takes a little getting used to not having a home button, but I’m getting use it it. I’ve been able to find the answers to my questions via the internet. The purple color is ok. I can always get a case if I get tired of looking at purple. So far, no downside but I’m giving it a 4 because I haven’t really used the phone a lot.

Back to a “normal” size phone. It is excellent size my everyday usage and everything else. Phone is great quality, fast and reliable. The only BIG CON is the battery life. Compare to all other iphones battery life on this is bad. I have to be constantly charging throughout the day to prevent battery running out anxiety. Otherwise I’ll plan to keep it because size convenient overweight the battery issue.

Really enjoying the smaller size while still getting most of the same features as the larger version. Personally phones just take up to much pocket real estate but this one is the perfect size and weight. Price is not bad either!
