Having used Android for a few years again before buying the iPhone again, it becomes painfully clear how restrictive and unpolished many aspects of the iPhone is. No camera shutter sound off mode except when on silent, no making Google Maps default, buggy settings when making text bigger that makes YouTube and video unwatchable, etc. It is OK as a phone, but for this price, OK is not enough. It is clear that Apple doesn't really spend time polishing features that don't directly make the company money, but it fails to realize that these small features is what causes long term customer loyalty. Feels like all the money went into materials and profit, not on software engineering. Feels nice in the hand, and that's honestly the only nice thing I can say about it. Is also fast.

All I care about in a phone is one that works well, takes nice photos, has good battery, and is durable. Apple always delivers and I am very pleased with this purchase.

This is a phenomenal iPhone! it has wonderful speed, a great camera setup and a slightly smaller form factor. It weighs less and is trivially easy to operate. The screen definition is amazing and the cell phone quality is marvelous. It was easy to transfer my data from my old iPhone 11. It only comes with a USB-C to lightning cable but I have several adapters already that use them and don't need or want more. These adapters are generally higher powered, so they charge very quickly. I really like this iPhone!

I upgraded from an iPhone 7 and thought the 12 would be too big but it’s perfect! The screen is easy to read. The camera is terrific and the battery holds a charge.

Great screen, incredible pictures, long battery life, (at least compared to me iPhone 7), and really fast. I am very pleased!

Had to replace an IPhone 6+, IOS was just running too slow with the same Apps I’ve always used, go figure. I considered an IPhone SE which could of probably met most of my requirements, but I like a larger screen. Also maximum memory capacity for the SE was 128gig and I have a growing library of media. The prospect of having to upgrade again and transfer all my data was a drawback. So I decided on the 12 Pro Max all the latest and greatest cameras, processor, memory 256g, bigger screen, faster, stronger, smarter. It’s a monthly charge for the next 2 years so it’s not an immediate gouge out of your pocket. Apple has to charge a premium for their technology because they give you a lot of the software and upgrades in the price of the phone. Just buy it and don’t think about for the next 6 years.

iPhone 12 Pro is perfect! It is the right size to fit my hand and purse, right speed to handle my storage, downloads and daily usage, right clarity for crisp screens with amazing photo capability. This is my third iPhone and Apple continues to get it right.

I bought this phone primarily for the camera and I have not been disappointed! I've also been really impressed with the battery life considering the heavy usage it gets (quarantine life!). Overall, I feel it was worth the investment!

easy to use, great picture, do wish there was a home button

It may not be a must-buy for current iPhone 11 owners, but the iPhone 12 gives most spec areas a nice boost in performance and quality. The cameras on this phone are particularly improved over this size class. The processor is noticeably faster and I feel more confident in the durability of the screen with the ceramic glass upgrade.

Great phone, good camera, very fast, and good size

Upgrading from a iPhone 8s, there is a big difference in quality of the phone and pictures taken. Easy to operate, slightly larger and heavier than the 8 but still manageable Ordered about a week before and picked up easily. Was able to transfer data, contacts and games onto the phone right at the Best Buy counter.

Love the new size and stainless steel case. Excellent quality. And the cameras have so many awesome features, I need to read up and learn all that the phone is capable of. I used it to take pictures of Christmas lights while we drove through and they were perfectly clear. Others in the vehicle only got blurred pictures.

I love how much space comes on this phone! It’s an enormous amount compared to my last phone. The quality of it is be stupidly and it works like any other Apple phone. So if you’re wanting to get an upgrade this is definitely the phone for you! It Looks good and is super fast!!
