Looks good but not a protective case.

I dropped it once and the case got torn in the corner. The phone also popped out of the case and the corner of the phone was scratched. Works well with my Anker magsafe charger. I'll probably be looking at the Otterbox or Spigen alternatives.

Cheap Leather

I don't use lotion and wash my hands frequently. No, it's not patina. Patina is discoloration, wear/scratches, and wrinkles. This is just low-quality leather and the case doesn't seem to fit perfectly around the phone (slightly warped overall and the border height that protrudes above the screen is inconsistent). The leather buttons are nice touch, though.

Great look and feel, but zero protection

Just know there is virtually no drop protection and cement, rocks, etc, are not leather friendly. I dropped the phone on the kitchen wood floor and did not feel safe at all. I have a screen protector but this case is a broken phone waiting to happen. Plus $60!? Too much.

Can’t beat Apple accessories
