What’s the point?

I get wanting to go “luxury,” but this doesn’t function as well as a silicone one at twice price. I can’t imagine that it provides any do protection. I actually bought this by accident thinking that it was an open box silicone one, then quickly returned for the Best Buy brand. Much happier now!
