I bought this case as as “openbox” item, and I'm not sure if the bottom is supposed to be open. The bottom portion only covers the edges, leaving the speaker/microphone and middle exposed. This a case is just a basic case to cover the phone. It is a smooth plastic that does not give the person holding the phone the ability to fully grasp it. Apple should stop trying to sell this at the same price as the silicone case. This case at most is worth $9.99. Buy only if it's the last thing available on earth.

Great case, it’s clear and I can still see the color of my phone.

Easily picks up fingerprints and dust gets in the phone very easily with this case. I like showing off the purple color of my phone, but this case is just average.

This is a great phone case. I like how smooth it feels and I like the cut out at the bottom of the case, makes you kinda feel like the case isn’t there when swiping up on the phone - nice subtle touch. The visible mag safe ring is hit or miss — for me it doesn’t bother me, but my wife doesn’t like it.

This case is very protective of your device and there are no complaints in the safety of your expensive device. The only downside to this case would be that over time it does yellow and starts to show its age. Also the skinny piece on the front that is over the charging port came off. This happened in about 6 months of owning it. Once that piece falls off the case becomes loose and does not hold onto your device as strong as it used to.

The material seems to be high-quality. The problem is that it feels like you’re holding a piece of polished glass in your hands. This case will slop off of any inclined surfaces. I’ve dropped it so many times. Fortunately, it hasn’t hit any hard surfaces and caused damage to the case. But it’s simply too glossy to hold securely. I’d rather have leather. It’s also hard to press the buttons because it’s hard plastic.
