The iPhone 16e works great! I know that there was some hesitation about the camera quality, but I have no complaints at all. I think the 16e is a nice option for people who don't want to sacrifice quality, but also pay a bit less than the more expensive options for iPhones.

I purchased the Apple - iPhone 16e 128GB - Apple Intelligence (Unlocked) - White as a gift for my mom. Before buying, I specifically asked multiple times whether this was a SIM-free, fully unlocked phone. The salesperson assured me that it was. To my shock, after gifting the phone, we realized it is not unlocked. It shows clearly in the settings: Carrier Lock: SIM locked We were unable to connect to any operators outside the U.S. This defeats the entire purpose of buying an “unlocked” device. Here are the phone details: Purchase Date: Nov 11, 2025 Order Number: 0393 070 1460 111125 Model: MD0W4LL/A – SKU: 6507524 EID: 89043052010008889724021370256063 IMEI1: 351811690415273 IMEI2: 351811690027245 Carrier Lock: SIM Locked I even contacted customer support and was told to physically visit a Best Buy store — which is not a practical solution, especially when the device was supposed to be carrier unlocked right from the start. Reference ID: 367026600 — so I don’t have to explain everything again. Extremely frustrated. This is misleading advertising and wasted time, especially when it was bought as a special gift. I expected better from Best Buy. I can provide screenshots and proof.

Very nice phone. It was on sale allowing to be able to purchase it. I also have a friend who offered to assist me to learn how to use the phone. I am full of sorrow that Best Buy is nolonger in the customer service business. You know the customer's needs were a consideration. I am so sorry that as a person I have little value. I just purchased a new iPhone 16e, to replace my Second Generation iPhone SE. The storage capacity is doubled, which allows me to maintain a large library of photos. The camera features are considerably enhanced. With a battery life of 21 hours, I no longer have to be concerned with recharging, when I am away from home.

This I Phone 16E replaced a lost I Phone 17. I love this phone 16E much more than the 17. The platform is much easier to navigate and is user friendly. The service at Best Buy was extraordinary. The young man helping us was so knowledgeable and courteous that we will consider all our electronic purchases there.

Upgraded for the camera and it doesn’t disappoint.

I recently picked up the iPhone 16e, and I have to say—it’s one of the best tech purchases I’ve made all year. Apple packed in a surprising amount of power and polish for the price. Sure, it skips a few premium extras like MagSafe and a high refresh rate, but for hundreds less than the base iPhone 16, it’s a fantastic value. If you’re looking for a modern iPhone that doesn’t drain your wallet, the 16e hits the sweet spot.

I purchased this phone for my spouse. He is impressed with the clarity of the screen and the ease of use. Battery holds charge well and the camera is great. Best Buy team member was wonderful is getting everything set up and even install the screen protector for us.

Great upgrade on my old iPhone…..very simple and straightforward to setup my new phone and transfer my data from one phone to the other. Good quality display, top quality camera and a longer battery life than previously.

This was a good purchase to replace an old broken phone. Everything is working well and it was easy to transfer all my data over. Would recommend if you need a new phone but don't want the newest phone.

I upgraded from an SE and wasn't sure about the new technology. As it turns out - I love the features: no home button, facial ID, larger screen, and improved audio / photo quality.

Already transferred from the old phone se to the 16e, so far I’m very happy with the new phone. Battery last a lot longer and have lots of space for extra picture.

My daughter wanted to purchase her first phone, and this was a great deal. The screen size is bigger than her old phone. The camera takes nice photos as well.

Love this phone. Best iPhone to get on a budget. Much easier and simpler to use than all the fancy ones these days.
