My niece really enjoyed the phone. Gave it for her birthday. The pick up process is a breeze at Mission Valley store. Wish it had an option for a gift wrap to save tim during the rush. She said that the phone serves its purpose. Very clear camera and overall apple intelligence is a gae changer. My gen alpha is happy.

I purchased the Apple - iPhone 16e 128GB - Apple Intelligence (Unlocked) - White as a gift for my mom. Before buying, I specifically asked multiple times whether this was a SIM-free, fully unlocked phone. The salesperson assured me that it was. To my shock, after gifting the phone, we realized it is not unlocked. It shows clearly in the settings: Carrier Lock: SIM locked We were unable to connect to any operators outside the U.S. This defeats the entire purpose of buying an “unlocked” device. Here are the phone details: Purchase Date: Nov 11, 2025 Order Number: 0393 070 1460 111125 Model: MD0W4LL/A – SKU: 6507524 EID: 89043052010008889724021370256063 IMEI1: 351811690415273 IMEI2: 351811690027245 Carrier Lock: SIM Locked I even contacted customer support and was told to physically visit a Best Buy store — which is not a practical solution, especially when the device was supposed to be carrier unlocked right from the start. Reference ID: 367026600 — so I don’t have to explain everything again. Extremely frustrated. This is misleading advertising and wasted time, especially when it was bought as a special gift. I expected better from Best Buy. I can provide screenshots and proof.

My box arrived tampered with and the phone had been stolen! Best Buy refused to replace it and I received no resolution to the issue and after several attempts they told me to contact my local police and they wouldn't help either. I spent over $600 and I am without the phone feeling cheated and extremely disappointed in Best Buy. Do not order online but go to the store if you don't want this to happen to you!

​It’s surprisingly light. It’s easier to use with one hand compared to the Pro models. ​The battery is a beast. I’ve easily gone a full day with plenty of juice left by bedtime. ​It’s fast. It has the same A18 chip as the regular 16, so apps open instantly and it doesn't stutter. ​The screen is sharp, but if you’re coming from a Pro phone, you’ll notice it’s not as bright in direct sunlight. Also, no 120Hz means scrolling doesn't look quite as smooth ​ There’s no MagSafe, so if you have a bunch of magnetic chargers or wallets, they won't stick. You also lose out on some of the camera lenses too so the soon isn't as good Also there is no Wi-Fi 7. To be quite honest and very disappointed in Apple intelligence. I was hoping that it would be more expansive and more like the rest of the AR software platforms, but it seems to only be a helpmate for the rudimentary software that already come set up in apple. And also it really just depends on chat. GPT and you have to have a chat GPT account just to really get the good effects of the Apple intelligence. All in all pretty good phone, very affordable. Pretty good quality for the price. I'd recommend for Apple users on a budget

I've been using the iPhone 16e for a few weeks now, upgrading from an old iPhone 11, and I absolutely love it! If you're looking for a reliable, modern iPhone that won't break the bank, definitely give the 16e a try—you won't regret it!

I always buy my smartphones and computers at Best Buy for store pickup so that it doesn't get lost in the mail. The iPhone 16e works good. I'm getting used to Face ID. Battery life is a little better than previous versions. So is the camera. For the satellite connectivity feature, you need to have no Wi-Fi and no cellular in order to use that (it's a last resort option) and you need to be outside with clear skies or at least next to a large window. This is a known issue amongst Apple support, but sometimes for newer iPhones, when you try to find the satellite feature, it doesn't even show up in the control center. I just updated my software, restarted my iPhone and waited a couple of days and it just came up by itself.

Great phone! I replaced my aging iPhone 8 with a 16e. While a bit bigger, the 16e was perfect... Lots of features and less than half the price of the newest models. Holds a charge for days and takes great photos. Unless you are trying to open a photo studio, this phone shoulf do the trick for most buyerd!

I just purchased a new iPhone 16e, to replace my Second Generation iPhone SE. The storage capacity is doubled, which allows me to maintain a large library of photos. The camera features are considerably enhanced. With a battery life of 21 hours, I no longer have to be concerned with recharging, when I am away from home.

Really good phone, good photos, snappy and good battery I guess the only reason I don't give it 5 starts is because it isn't Magsafe compatible, which is kind of crazy for a $600.00 phone.

This is a reliable phone for a highschooler. The phone is light weight and has excellent battery time.
