I purchased this phone with the lease option for $529 on 7/31/2026 because my old phone was irreparable. Geek Squad told me that my old phone could not be repaired. I was given several options to replace my old phone and this is the phone I chose. Cost was the biggest factor for me but it has proven to be well worth what I was charged. Thank you Best Buy for helping me get what I needed that day.

The Apple Intelligence features are surprisingly snappy and helpful for daily tasks. My only minor complaint is that the screen refresh rate still feels a bit basic compared to the Pro models, but for the price point, it’s an incredible value. Highly recommend!

I purchased the Apple - iPhone 16e 128GB - Apple Intelligence (Unlocked) - White as a gift for my mom. Before buying, I specifically asked multiple times whether this was a SIM-free, fully unlocked phone. The salesperson assured me that it was. To my shock, after gifting the phone, we realized it is not unlocked. It shows clearly in the settings: Carrier Lock: SIM locked We were unable to connect to any operators outside the U.S. This defeats the entire purpose of buying an “unlocked” device. Here are the phone details: Purchase Date: Nov 11, 2025 Order Number: 0393 070 1460 111125 Model: MD0W4LL/A – SKU: 6507524 EID: 89043052010008889724021370256063 IMEI1: 351811690415273 IMEI2: 351811690027245 Carrier Lock: SIM Locked I even contacted customer support and was told to physically visit a Best Buy store — which is not a practical solution, especially when the device was supposed to be carrier unlocked right from the start. Reference ID: 367026600 — so I don’t have to explain everything again. Extremely frustrated. This is misleading advertising and wasted time, especially when it was bought as a special gift. I expected better from Best Buy. I can provide screenshots and proof.

My box arrived tampered with and the phone had been stolen! Best Buy refused to replace it and I received no resolution to the issue and after several attempts they told me to contact my local police and they wouldn't help either. I spent over $600 and I am without the phone feeling cheated and extremely disappointed in Best Buy. Do not order online but go to the store if you don't want this to happen to you!

Thought I "needed" a flagship Iphone version. Nope, This 16e is giving me exactly what I needed in an upgraded phone. I didn't want to upgrade, but at some point we are forced to upgrade. I was dead set on a iphone 16 or 17 but couldn't justify the cost for either. The price for the 16e hit the sweet spot for my budget while giving me everything I needed in a new phone. I don't feel like I settled in not getting a 16 or 17. The camera features do what I need. I have more than enough GB for the apps I use - I'm using about 55% of my GB. I like the size. I'm coming from an Iphone X, so I'm enjoying the upgrade in speed and screen sensitivity. The 16e is every bit as good as the other Iphone versions I was considering purchasing - without the higher price tag. I'm VERY happy with my purchase and for once - no buyers remorse. My new 16e meets all my needs. I use Consumer Cellular for my provider so I needed an unlocked phone. I was able to activate and transfer apps between phones by myself, seamlessly. The transition from old to new phone was a good experience all the way around. If you're on a budget, then I highly recommend the 16e!!

I recently bought the Apple iPhone 16e from Best Buy and it was a great decision! The phone is easy to use, does everything promised, takes great pictures and really fits my needs.
