Upgrading to the iPhone 18 Pro Max has exceeded my expectations, particularly in two areas: the camera system and thermal efficiency. The new mechanical variable aperture on the main sensor makes a noticeable difference in real-world depth of field and sharpness without relying heavily on software post-processing. Low-light shooting is fast, crisp, and clean. Performance under load is smooth; the upgraded vapor chamber cooling keeps the device remarkably cool during heavy video rendering, multitasking, and gaming. Battery life is easily a day and a half with heavy screen-on time, and the faster wired charging gets it back up to speed quickly. It is definitely a substantial, hefty phone in the hand, but the premium build quality, display brightness, and performance make it well worth the footprint. Highly recommended.

What to say the battery life is amazing and the apple ecosystem makes it effortless to integrate/sync between devices: notes, photos you take, etc. They have also improves apple intelligence to a level that is really convenient to use.

All is good with the phone but Best Buy doesn’t process Att next up upgrades properly. These upgrades require you to either pay off the device or send it back. Best Buy does not know how to process the return labels for you to send it back. Stay away if this is your plan.
