I was happy to see the IPhone 5 had a bigger display than the iPhone 4. For those who play games & watch videos you will find this a bonus. HD camera is also a plus & added bonus. Pictures come out crystal clear alleviating the need for a camera. iPhones have always been my favorite & the iPhone 5 did not disappoint my expectations or love for iPhones.

Iphone 5 - is an Apple...either you love Apple/iPhones/iOS or you love Android or maybe Windows. We happen to love Apple products and this one doesn't disappoint. It just works...all the time, we have never had problems with anything Apple we own. Love that the screen is just a tad bigger than the 4/4S, fits the hand just perfect. Matt finish on back really helps keep scratches down. Screen is great, nice and clear and the OS is easy to use. Only negatives are: 1. Why did they have to change the size of the charging/sync cable? We like the new style better than the old style but now we have to haul two cables around or buy an adapter to make one cable work for both. 2. For the price (retail pricing is shockingly high on this and other phones), they could include a $10 screen protector right from the factory.

Great phone , great display , great camera , nice form factor/design. Battery life is mediocre with moderate use . No generic Lighting Cables available yet so I don't look forward to paying 40 bucks for an extra car charger or office charger .

Awesome phone design. Great sound quality. Video and screen quality is also great. Would like better battery life. It does recharge fast though. Easy and intuitive setup is just enough in almost all areas.

As usual for an Apple product, build quality is excellent with fast, responsive performance. The hotspot feature is a major plus, but takes a while (45-60 sec) to show up as available. Excellent screen. Still not a big fan of the limitations of iTunes for syncing and management. Battery life is not quite as advertised, but considering the size of the phone and the available battery space, it is very respectable. I can usually go a couple of days and still have 25% left.

I upgraded from the iPhone 4, love the faster 4G speed, picture has always been super clear, phone has always been easy to use and figure out as are all apple products. The battery is really good however people need to know that you have to close out all your app's or they'll eat up the battery (double click the home button fast and hold down on the apps until they blink) a common mistake. I was happy with Best Buys trade in on the 4 and the $50 off special which made my upgrade to the 5 only 20 bucks, can't go wrong!!! Moving pic's (kids, animals, etc.) are a little blurry at times but I guess you can't have everything though it would be cool if Apple could add an anti-shake or anti-blur feature to their camera:) Oh and the navigation Turn by Turn is absolutely awesome and you don't have to pay for GPS, also you can just ask Suri for directions to wherever so you don't have to type any search or anything, love it!!!

This is my 1st smart phone, but rest assured I'll continue to purchase iPhones in the future. Right out of the box I was able to quickly learn how to maneuver my way around without reading directions - they just so happened to design this one with common sense. The camera is great and the various features are wonderful. The only thing taking some adjusting is learning how to type/selecting to make a phone call on a touch screen. The device also works wonderfully with my bluetooth compatible headset.

Very user friendly phone for a smartphone beginner

This is my very first smartphone. It took a lot of prodding by coworkers to upgrade from my extremely aged LG VX8300. Since I rarely text, listen to music, use APPs, or watch videos online, I may never use this to its maximum capacity/function. It serves me well and that is all that counts. Battery life is not as great as my LG, and I'm told to not leave it charging 24/7 or it will lessen battery life. It is more fragile than a normal cell phone, so a case is an absolute must! Call/sound quality is fair to adequate -not as bad as some have complained about. Camera is simple to use and of great quality -as long as you remember to keep your finger out of the lens while taking pictures/filming. Costs a bit more per month, but this is typical of smartphones and depends on just what you do with it. I went to my local BestBuy and played with the various smartphones before choosing the IPhone.

    Loving my first iPhone

This is my first iPhone after a few years with a Droid Incredible. I agonized over whether to get the iPhone or the Samsung Galaxy SIII. I'm glad I chose the iPhone love the haven't had any issues. Battery life is great, it's fast, Siri is cool, and I love having iTunes on my phone. The camera is very nice as well. The only issue I had is that for the first week I had this phone without a case and was terrified that I was going to scratch or break it, feels very fragile to me. I wrapped it in an Otterbox Defender case and now it feels bulletproof, although a lot less sleek and streamlined.

Love the phone. It's a great update after having the 4S. The size is perfect. The camera is much-improved. I love how fast everything is now. The only problem I've had is sometimes audio sounds like people in a tunnel, but that has been a rare occurrence.

This is by far the best mobile phone I have ever had. I came from owning several droid phones, which worked great, but this IPhone 5 beats them hands down for my personal tastes. From the ease of use to the speed of the phone is incredible. It took me a day or two to get used to it being a non droid but I prefer the iPhone interface better. A coworker of mine just bought the Samsung S3 and I must say it is a nice phone but the IPhone 5 has a crisper display. The S voice on the S3 is not nearly as nice as Siri, I played with both. All in all I am very satisfied with my purchase, it was worth the wait.

This is my second iPhone and I'm just as pleased with this one as I was with my first one. The camera (front and rear) have improved tremendously! The biggest downside to the phone to me is the short battery life (which is a common issue in most phones). But compared to other people I now with an iPhone, I rarely use mine except for a few calls and social media checks... All-in-all I would recommend this phone to any of my friends if they were in the market for a new one.

I love my new iphone 5! I'm a new iphone user. I just upgraded and I really like having easier internet access. It's wonderful having all my apps together instead of carrying different devices for different purposes. I haven't had any problems with it at all. The only thing I would change is the battery life. It's in need of charging everyday, even if I don't use it a lot. That is the only thing I would complain about this phone. I really love it! The camera takes great pictures. I'm quite happy with the picture quality.

    Joined the "fruit side" finally

I've been a devote android user for years, and enjoyed all the phones. With the continued use of iTunes, introduction of an Apple TV, 2 iPads, and several iPods... It only made sense to finally join the "fruit side" to complete the transformation. Apple just makes it too easy to sync devices and they all work together effortlessly. Made the android difficult to manage when buying apps from apple, then re-buying for android. So, I took the plunge. The good; I actually really like the iPhone 5, easy to use and very intuitive (once I erased my android programming) OS. Integration with other apple devices is super easy, and air play on FRIENDS Apple TV makes it even cooler. Battery life so far is great! Honestly, better than a comparable sized android.. But I believe that might have something to do with all the PC like programs running in the background on android. The eh' not as good; can't say it's "bad", but I do miss the deep customization available on android. Things like creating contact groups right on the phone seem missing on the apple. Also, be weary, if you subscribe to iCloud and sync your contacts, you will get EVERY contact from your FB, email, twitter, even sticky notes from the fridge. They manage to pull contacts from all nooks and crannies... Which makes going back to clean them up a bear. New apple user mistake maybe, but it cost me hours of sitting at the PC logged in to iCloud to clean up. Not a deal breaker.

I had the same problems with my last two android phones.: the first with having to charge the phone every 5 hours and the second with the internet speed and the time it took for apps to load. The IPhone keeps the charge better and for longer, and is so much faster than the android operating systemm. I love it. The picture quality is excellent. The sound through speakers or earphones is great. It could use more ringtones. Not happy with the ringtones on the phone.

After having a droid for 2 years I have to say that the iphone5 beat every expectation I had. First of all call quality is excellent! It doesn't freeze and randomly reboot. It has a long battery life, takes great pictures and videos very easy to learn and use. The only drawback I find is the syncing with iTunes on pcs . Maybe I'm still learning but every time I sync something ends up missing. Also the glass scared me so I got a rugged case and so far so good.
