Very bad experience from best buy.I paid the money for unlocked phone and i got a locked phone. Best buy customer service said contact Apple and find out which carrier is locked. Very weird experience

I have been at Best Buy in Atlanta last week and bought two iPhones 5s 32gb "contract free", I paid full price by them and the seller told me they were unblocked. But when I arrived at Brazil and tried to use the phones with a brazilian sim card it didn't work. I went to a store which sells sim cards and asked for help to solve the problem about the iPhones, but it was said to me that they are blocked and to that there is no way to unblock them. I've paid about U$1800,00 and I just can't use any Iphone. Now, i'm feeling like a fool, I have always been a Best Buy's customer, every time I go to USA I buy something at Best Buy and I had never felt disappointed before. I have tried many ways to resolve my problem, even called Apple Brazil and they couldn't help me, then I would really appreciate if you'd resolve my problem and help me to unblock my iPhones without paying an extra tax. I didn't recommend to brazilians buy this Iphone at Best Buy, I have been passing through this problems and nobody helps me !!! I need a answer, PLESE !! Yours sincerely, Domingos A. Cesar :.

I bought this for my wife last december (2013). I really like it by then. Small, fast, good screen. However I`ve bought an Iphone 6 this year (2014) and it is much better. The size of the screen changes everything. I really like the Galaxys too, but Apple's OS is better than Android in my opinion. Easier to understand. Anyway, i recommend Iphone 6, unless size doesn`t matter to you.

The cellphone is really unblocked? I read a comment from a man who bought the phone and was blocked. I'm from Argentina.

I purchased this phone for my 15 yr old daughter and she loves it. I dont like apple products but i gotta say this phone is durable my daughter breaks everything and this phone is still like new.

This phone is a nice size, and works really well. Some of my family members chose not to upgrade to the 6 or 6s because they love this phone and the size so much. Ours are still working after 2+ years.

I was happy to see this unlocked iPhone 5s to go on sale, and I bought it for my family. The phone was advertised as unlocked, but when I inserted a T-mobile sim card in, it could not detect it. I brought it over to Canada and tried my relative's Canada Roger Wireless SIM card (which is a GSM carrier), and it did not work either. Finally i took it to apple store and asked them if they can check if this is an unlocked phone. The genius bar supported took me that it's is locked to US tracFone. Sad and disappointed... i had to return it
