Based on my research and the input from my mobile carrier and the Best Buy sales staff, I determined that the 32 GB iPhone 7 was the best value when upgrading from my water-damaged iPhone 6. While the 8 does have a much warmer and natural looking screen (a feature that can be turned off to look like the older phones), it doesn't have many more new hardware features (greater storage capacity and processor speed) to warrant the price difference for a basic smartphone user. I play a couple games, take lots of photos, and check email and social media -- this phone is perfectly suited for this activity, even in wet and damp Washington state. I no longer have to shield the phone when trying to take pictures in the rain! Plus no more worries about dropping it into a puddle, bucket, stream...or toilet.

Great device! Much better battery percentage rate than iPhone 6/6S; better camera, great picture quality; faster processor than 6/6S.

The iphone 7 has a great camera takes good pictures. Love that it's splash and water resistant and the battery life is great.

I really like the Iphone 7. It makes finding things easy and it is quick. There is plenty of storage for the apps I want to use.

Easier to hold than my 4s. The pictures are sharper. Some new things to learn but it's easy and not so many steps to take.

We have 2 little boys and they are super active! Our families live in another state and we love the features that allow us to quickly access the camera and take really high quality videos to share with them!

The iPhone 7 lives up to the hype. The phone is much quicker to respond than both the 6 and 6S. The only issue I've noticed was with the camera, where it froze until I restarted it. Haven't had the issue since. IOS 10 complements the phone wonderfully a well. The only negative would be the touch sensitive home button. It takes a little getting used to. If you have issues with entering directly into Siri from the lock screen, then just turn off that feature until you're used to the new style of button.

I love the iPhone 7. It is bigger, more user friendly and has better memory than my iPhone 5. I don't like the monthly payments to own it. Added up, it is more than I used to pay to upgrade with a contract.

I love the new camera. The phone is lightweight and I love the color choices. The new text message features are awesome. You can send texts with your actual handwriting and special effects. Gifs are programmed into the keyboard. The only negative I have with this phone is the lack of a headphone jack. It comes with an adapter but I think that's just extra hardware which is an inconvenience. I don't like that I can longer listen to music and charge my phone at the same time.

the iPhone 7 has more bells and whistles - and the best upgrade for me are the speakers and the sound - I am always listening to music and the clarity of the instruments as well as vocals is great! plus the clarity of the pictures is much better - and the battery seems to last much longer which is great!!! I purchased my iPhone at the best buy in martinsburg, wv and by far the best customer service EVER!!!! I will definitely go back there . . . . .

Phone has great camera and plenty of storage for a teen. Battery is more adequate than previous iPhones.

Two years ago we purchased iPhone 6s through Best Buy, thinking they would be good enough for the foreseeable future. What we didn't foresee was changing cell service providers, so even though we had the phones, we couldn't transfer them to another cell service. So, we wound up trading in our 6s for 7s, even though we didn't need to. With that said, the 7 is very nice. It's faster, and the camera is clearly better. All-around a great phone.

Good size, love the color and the camera . And the icons are bigger than the Samsung phones.
