The Samsung S6 was babied for 14 months and then decided to die! So I picked up the iPhone 7+ and am enjoying all the features, great camera, easy intuitive smart phone. Haven't had it long enough to compare lifespan, but seems well built.

It has every thing I needed and then some. Still learning all the features, and the phone actually helps with that also and keeps it simple so a beginner has no issues. Will be taking a family member tomorrow to purchase one.
