Must Have if you own the iphone 7/7plus in Black

This is a must buy for the iphone 7/7plus black color as this is exactly the same color as the black iphone 7. So, this perfectly compliments the phone and also solves the headphone jack issue as the dock has a 3.5mm jack.
This is not my first dock for an iphone and probably won't be the last either. But this is the best color of all time.

Charges efficiently and works with the multiple third-party lightning cables I've tried it with (which is a huge plus compared to another similar dock I've seen). I use it at my work desk; and it's nice to have it charging while standing up, so I have to constantly pick it up to see who's calling, texting, alerting, etc. The dock is compact and very well-made. I also love the fact that you can plug your wired headphones/earbuds into the back of the dock to listen to music/videos while the phone is charging! At least to my knowledge, this is the only way you can charge and have your wired headphones/earbuds in at the same time with the new iPhone 7/Plus.
My two cons: 1) There's no back support for the phone, which would make it easier to text while the phone is charging and standing up right; it would feel more stable that way, and 2) I've used the iPhone 6 on it and my OCD makes it feel like the phone is tilting to the left or right after I interact with my phone while it's charging; so I have to re-center it at times; I just got the iPhone 7 Plus, so I have yet to see for myself how stable it is.
Overall, it's a nice charger for the positives I've mentioned. The positives definitely outweighs the cons, so it's worth a shot for those that are interested in it.

I like this dock and would definitely recommend it, but there are a couple things to be aware of before you buy. First if you have a thick case this probably wont work for you. I have a thinner case and it literally fits perfectly with no room to spare. Also sometimes it is hard find the right angle to get the actual phone on the charger. Other than those two things, I really like the dock, its clean, simple, and works well.

Excellent dock that I use on my office desk. Great use since the regular iPhone cord doesn't fall behind my desk. I'm able to link with the computer or plug into the wall for direct charging. However this does not work with Apple's HDMI splitter for hookup directly to my TV or Denon receiver (to view from phone). The black matches with my desk so it's barely noticeable. The only con would be the price at $49.99!

This dock does exactly what I need it to. I was skeptical when I first bought it; thinking it was too small to be a solid base. But, though it is small - it is also dense. It easily handles an iPhone 6, 7, and 7 Plus. For the price, I would have loved an easier eject mechanism. But, pulling a device off of the dock isn't too much a hassle. I just wish it could be firmly a one handed operation. :)

Initially I resisted the switch to the lightning connector but Apple has done a solid job offering accessories that take advantage of the smaller connector. I've had 30mm docks from apple in the past and this one is superb. It's very easy to line up the phone and set in on the dock. Looks greats, is weighted nicely and I like the rubber foot pad on the bottom.

This Charging Dock is made in great quality and works great, perfectly weighted/balanced base. Only issue is make sure you cell phone case doesn't block access to the charging port otherwise you have to cut it off/open or get a different style case.

I bought this to dock my iPhone 7 Plus at work. The color is a great match to my black iPhone 7 Plus and I like the convenience of charging the iPhone and also being able to plug headphones in. Using a little bit of double-sided tape keeps it secured to the desk so it doesn't move when removing the iPhone from the dock.

This base/charging stand is pretty solid. Though it is small it is also dense. It is perfectly capable of holding a phone upright. I do understand the limit of the design, but I do wish it was somehow adjustable. I didn't give it the fifth star because well, its pretty expensive for what it is. But it is functional and does what its supposed to. I use it by my desk. I "need" one now on my night stand(s). Also, just because many people don't read packaging but for some reason read reviews: this does NOT include an extra cable/ wall-plug. This just sits on the receiving end of one that you must already own. I believe they say, "(included with your phone)."

Easy to use and charge so far looks flimsy but pretty strong holds phone in place. Same one apple used at there location and people smash and are careless with them. Works when you have a bulky case.

I thought long and hard and researched a lot of options for an iPhone dock. I wanted to replace my alarm clock and have a dock where I could stand my phone upright, charging, and use an alarm clock app. Everything I typically found required me to install the lightning cable into it and could not guarantee the fit like the Apple dock. I was reluctant, but because I had a BB coupon, it helped to justify. I don't think it's worth $50, probably not worth the $40 I ended up paying for it, but it does what I wanted from it. They have these same docks at the Apple Store to display their products and I had thought I would be able to remove my phone with just one hand because the weight of the dock base was strong enough to hold it down, but that's not the case. I typically need to use both hands to remove the phone from the dock, otherwise I fear I'll snap off the port. I could have probably gotten away with a cheaper version sold from 3rd party manufacturers. But if my review is based specifically on the functionality, I would give it 4 stars, but the combination of function and price, I dropped it down to 3.

Apple lists this as case friendly. Yeah! If you have a thin bumper. Don’t try using something like a UAG or Magpul case. And forget being able to lift your phone off the stand without using your other hand to hold it to the table top.
I get so tired of docks not staying in place when I lift my phone off of it. What’s the point?
