Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the iPhone X 64GB's excellent camera quality, expansive screen size, and smooth performance as significant strengths. Many appreciate the ease of use and the innovative Face ID feature, while some find the lack of a home button and the high price less appealing. The phone's design and battery life also receive positive feedback. However, the absence of a headphone jack is a recurring point of criticism for some users.

    A little disappointed

For years I was always jealous of the beautiful OLED displays on the Samsung phones. Sure, you can say the colors were oversaturated, but they were pleasing to the eye. When I heard the Iphone X was going to have a Samsung OLED display, I knew I had to have this phone! Imagine my disappointment when the new OLED display looks exactly like the one on my LCD based Iphone 7 Plus. I've read Apple tuned the OLED for color accuracy. If you are buying the phone for the OLED display, you might want to see this in person before you buy it. I am thinking of returning mine do to the lack of the excitement factor in the display and of course the high price!

    Half baked phone, possibly dangerous

I owned the iPhone X for a grand total of 26 hours. Just returned it back to the store to go back to my tried and trusted iPhone 7 Plus. First, the obvious- this phone is far from fully finished. This should never have been released. From a usability perspective, very hard to navigate without a physical or even a virtual home button. The gestures are clumsy. Sometimes they work, sometimes they do not. As a last resort of some sort, I turned on the accessibility option to multi task, go to home, bring up the control center etc. Then there is the notch. Very annoying. It just sits there as an afterthought. Obviously, if some one like Jobs was still around , who genuinely cared about the product, this notch would never have made it to a production iPhone. Now there is stuff that’s not tangible but I can sense that the infra red dots that the phone sprays on your face are probably unsafe over the long run. If you happen to use your phone a lot, open it 70-80 times a day, gonna use a lot of Animoji, open apps with password by Face ID, it’s safe to assume your cornea is at a major risk. That was one huge factor in me returning this phone. Now, the phone itself is nice to hold. They physical aspect of it, holding it, looking at the design of body, is very good. Alas, I wish I could say the same for rest of it. I really wanted to love it, but at end of the day, I am back to my trusted lieutenant : the iPhone 7 Plus. iPhone 7 would be remembered as the last great iPhone that Apple produced.

I came from a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and I must say that I am so happy I switched. To me, iOS is just loads better than Android. I am amazed by the speed, battery life, and camera on this phone. It is definitely worth the price.

    Best Phone

If you’re a fan of Android by all means get an android, now if you’re fond of iOS more than Android like me then this is the phone for you, yes it has technology that was introduced in 2014 and 2015, but.. none of that matters if it was never on an iPhone, always leave it to Apple to PERFECT those features and technology and make them standard. Great phone

The iPhone X is excellent in every way. Face ID works just as advertised. Apple delivers an elegantly designed phone with a vivid OLED display. Colors are rich, performance is lightning fast. Absolutely recommend.

Solid phone, if not a little outdated

I bought this phone in 2018 and used it through mid-2023. Operationally, the phone held up great compared to some of my previous iPhones. My only complaint would be the battery degradation, which is to be expected with electronic devices.

Go with the iPhone 8 Plus instead

Not impressed. I had the 8 Plus and wish I would have kept that. YES the display on here looks amazing and YES it’s fast. But the lack of home button SUCKS and the battery takes FOREVER to charge, plus the speakers crackle sometimes. It’s also too heavy, (something the 8 Plus is too, but since it doesn’t have the other irritating flaws, it’s something I can overlook). Unfortunately looks like I’m stuck with this and I’m fine with that, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Usless upgrades not worth the price paid

Very slick phone at first glance, however the more I use it the less I like it. Biggest issue is the screen size which is marketed as larger then the plus, but is as wide as the much smaller iPhone 8 making the extra real estate useless in landscape view. While the screen looks nicer then the Plus, it loses a lot of functionality. Face ID works ok most of the time, but works in far fewer circumstances then Touch ID. I will to Samsung next time.

    Not worth the money!

I got this phone through my carrier per-order. Its a nice phone, but NOT WORTH THE MONEY! The 8 has practically the SAME EXACT specs for a fraction of the cost! The "new" features are actually OLD FEATURES that Android and even Windows Mobile had for years! I can not recommend this phone at this price! If it was cheaper, it would be an "OK" to "AVERAGE" phone. Nothing earth shattering or new tech here!

    NOT the best iphone ever

    Posted .

This phone is just the same as Iphone 6,7,8 and less better than Iphone 7,8 plus. the difference is only animoji and face id. Im from att network and using the iphone 7 plus before and now using the iphone 8 plus and just received the iphone x a week ago, iphone 8 plus is way more better than iphone x. Some apps in iphone x is not optimize and the mail app is really frustrating when loading incoming mail, you have to restart the phone before you load your new mail, this is not happening on iphone 7,8 plus. The signal on this phone is a bar lower than iphone 7,8 plus and the battery life is not long enough for a day to last when just browsing the net..(I've check all the settings to optimize this phone but its not that good as iphone 7,8 plus) NOT WORTH THE MONEY... get the iphone 8 Plus...

    My First IPhone

I've been using Samsung phones for the longest and never thought I'd ever switch. Android does have a lot of custom features and the split screen was a plus but I guess as I've gotten older those things aren't as important to me but my wife and kids all had iphones and i didn't. So I made the jump in October and still now in May I'm still enjoying it and not regretting the change.
