I bought the XR in the Novi Michigan store during thanksgiving this year, it has been close a month since I started using the phone, pros are the battery life, processor speed, camera features and quality. In terms of cons, it does take a few days to get used to it if you are used to previous models as I was. While the product was good, the service experience was horrible, partly because of the crowd. It took me one hour to check out as the sales consultant had to call my telecom provider. I felt the sales consultant was short of experience and had to rely on one of his more experienced colleagues. Best Buy could have done a better there

Have followed I-phone through every other new generation now. I’m sold on ease of use, Great Cameras, and ease of use over all. Guys at Best Buy were great. Made for a quick and easy upgrade. The only con so far was I purchased this new one without handeling it. I didn’t get the + on previous models before because I just don’t need a massive screen. Don’t need or want a two handed typing set up. This version at the smaller screen size is just bigger. Yes resolution is awesome. Video playback is great. But cramping thumb and more phone drops adjusting to screen size just isn’t what I wanted. Guess I should have stuck with the 8s. Again the 4 star was just because I was unaware of sub $800 iPhone option with the better camera/stuff with the same ol 6-8 dimensions

I’ve had a lot of iPhones starting with the 4 and going through the list. I’ve always loved iPhone but this one goes above and beyond. Never has a phone been slicker and as fast. Also, the screen is beautiful. Big screen and wonderful capability. I love it. Definitely would recommend to anyone who likes iPhone or is thinking of switching!!

I did not expect the capabilities of this phone to make all previous models look and feel so dated, but that is what happened for me. I also feel that the improved display, camera, and force touch of the step-up XS are worth the increased price tag over the XR, especially given the superior battery life of the XR, which after a month, still leaves me impressed. No previous iPhone comes close to the battery longevity here.

This is a great phone for people who must have a new iPhone over an Android or older iPhone model. Even though it has a sub-1080p resolution LCD, the screen resolution, color accuracy, and brightness are great and will probably make you question the value of purchasing an OLED screen model. The camera’s photo quality is great, and will likewise make you question the value of a dual-lens phone. A warning: This is a big phone. If the previous iPhone Plus models were too big for you, then this phone will probably be too big, as well; however, the reduced bezels allow for an even larger screen than previous Plus models. Also, if you’ve become accustomed to Force Touch, be aware that it is not included with this phone, but is present on both the iPhone XS and XS Max.

This was an early birthday present for my mom and she loves it. She went from a 16GB iPhone 6 to this XR with 64GB & she says it’s way faster than the one she had. She loves that her battery last longer & the visual of her screen. Another thing she really enjoys is the more advanced camera this one has over the one she had. This is a great phone if you’re in search of a new one, I really recommend it.

I was going to buy the new iphone XS but waited until the less expensive XR came out. It's several hundred dollars cheaper and has the same super fast A12 chip. I went on CNET and read how this was the best "for the money" iphone, and I have to agree. Great phone.

I can’t believe how fast the processor is on this phone. I’v been using a 7 plus phone last three years and I’ve not really got on the band wagon of new technology on iPhones until I got this phone! It is incredible the size battery new intuitive ways to use it.... list goes on and on. So happy with it.

activation and data transfer from Iphone 6S were quick and painless, learning the new tricks to adapt to no home button, setting up face ID etc were similarly quick and easy. Six days into the new phone, I have no regrets. Also love the Red exterior. Would recommend a protective case as the device is thin and would easily slip from your hand or pocket (I got the Speck Presidio in clear)

My iPhone 7 Plus finally died from loop disease so upgraded to iPhone XR. Great phone, big screen, very fast. I didn’t feel like paying a grand for a new phone and this one was on sale. Don’t believe the critics that the screen resolution is not good enough, the screen quality is very bright and vivid. I have no complaints with the LCD over the OLED. Highly recommend.
