    I have been living on a renew-every-2-year cycle, which had me purchase the 8plus last year. Well, the XS Max was just such a beautiful new phone, that I broke that tradition. The larger, brighter screen, even better camera, and the FaceID are all amazing! I haven't missed the lack of a home button as the new methods of navigating the phone became second nature very quickly.

    So far so good. Upgraded from a 5, so I’m super excited at the functionality and speed. Would give a 5 stars except price is a bit on the high side. Though, for what I’m getting, totally worth for me.

    The phone itself is awesome and the camera is awesome as well. My only annoyance is what apple did with ios12 in changing up some features that were working just fine, and making it more difficult to access.

    I previously owned an iPhone 7 Plus that seemed to suffice my needs until I seen this phone in person. The difference in the resolution was significantly improved since the development of my phone. I also loved that the phone was nearly the same size as my previous, but encased a larger screen. Lastly, the difference in the camera sold me on making the change.
