for those lucky enough to buy the iphone xs max, you should really consider protecting your investment. most people get the standard plastic cases and they work fine; but this apple branded leather case is incredible. the price is also good if you don't care for the super expensive folio leather case. quality of leather is unmatched and it makes your phone look impressive on the table.

I've gotten this case for previous iPhones, and came right back to it for my XS Max. It's a great minimalist case that still provides some protection for the phones. Since it's made by Apple specifically for this device it fits like a glove and doesn't inhibit wireless charging or any other features.

Listen, I know I could’ve gotten something just as good for half the price BUT I’ve learned in my older age, get the better quality product and have it for a long time.. this case feels good in the hands and the magnet for my vehicle hand free setup is strong. the other case I had to tape the magnet to the back (tacky)... Buy it and enjoy it...

It fits beautifully and protects the phone. And looks very elegant.

Yes these cases are pricey, but this is an instance of “you get what you pay for”....in this case you do get a quality case and pay the “Apple tax” to have the logo on your case. However, in my opinion it is very well made, all buttons have excellent feel, and it protects just well enough. I can confirm it works perfectly with a glass screen protector.

I got the tan leather case for my iPhone Xs MAX Gold. It's a nice looking case and little upgrade to apple silicon case. It doesn't protect coverage to the bottom of iPhone where speakers are located. Unlike other bulky cases, I love the feel of this case and its protection.

In my 10 yrs of iPhones this is my first Apple Leather case. Of course this years color options weren’t the greatest but this blue is really growing on me. The feel of the leather is so amazing-can’t believe I waited this long. The X iPhone demands an open bottom for gestures. Fit is great. Buttons clicky. Expensive, but worth it.

Fit and finish is good looks good on the iPhone, my really big concern is that it’s slippery, it has a tendency to slip out of your front pocket while sitting down. You definitely need to have a good grip on it, forget about one hand operation you will drop it. Thinking about returning and exchanging for the silicone one.

My new leather case for my new XS Max iPhone makes the Phone more beautiful. Since I like to carry my phone in my front pocket it fits!! Not like the bulky cases that make it look ugly and won't fit in your pocket. It is slim and I have dropped the phone and it still protected the phone. Great Case and looks great.

Not much to say. It’s a black leather case. With an Apple logo! A bit overpriced, but if you get an Apple case, that’s kinda to be expected. It does do its job well though and has protected my phone through many a drops. It’s kept my iPhone XS Max nice and clean...even if you can’t see it due to the case. If you’re looking for a black leather case by Apple that doesn’t take away from the aesthetics of your phone, then this would be it.

This case looks very nice, and I had one just like it (except in a different color) on my iPhone 7 that proved very protective of the phone itself. If I had a complaint it would be just how slippery the case is in hand, particularly when new. After having it for a couple of weeks it seems to be a little less slippery, but I am still very careful with it. Also, I have to take the case off to use my old iHome lightning charger.

The leather Apple case is one of best cases for the iPhone XS Max, imo. It doesn’t add much, if any, bulk to the phone. And, after a few days of breaking it in, it provides a good amount of grip. The saddle brown color also looks really good on the gold iPhone.

Simply cannot go wrong with the Apple leather case. If I have a gripe, it's that the bottom is partially open. But it fits like a charm, glove tight. Decent level of basic protection for body, screen and camera lenses.

Because the case is designed by Apple, it fits the phone perfectly. The bottom speakers and lightning port are fully exposed, which is nice. It's sleek, looks professional, protects the phone from drops, and side buttons have a good response. Would buy again.

The two leather cases that I purchased for both brand new iPhone Xs Max are of excellent quality. I've had this item on my former iphone and it protects it like a charm. I'd truly recommend getting this protective case as it's definitely worth every penny.

If you spend this much on a phone. Why put a $5 case on it. Leather cases don't get much nicer than apples own cases. If you don't get brown whatever color you get you will be happy with. The brown one ages like fine leather which is so nice.

Leather is the way to go. Especially this case is supple leather. It feels great in the hand and it is high quality. Don't be cheap, buy the authentic case. I have sweaty hands and with this case i NEVER dropped my phone.

I've had this for a month and half. It has held up well and looks/fits great. However, as others have mentioned, it is kinda slick. I expected it to become more tacky by now from everyday handling but it's just not there. I have felt other leather cases with a years use and it felt more sticky and easier to handle. Guess only time will tell...

I'm happy to see Apple has taken note of the iPhone's 'bump' (aka: Rear-Facing Camera). This iteration of the iPhone / Apple Brand Leather Case, is just as good as any of the previously released models. I will spare anyone, that is wishing to obtain the "Product (RED)" Edition of this iPhone XR Case; Please do not buy the Red Leather Case. If you're caught out in the rain, the red will bleed and stain, even on black jeans. By purchasing the default Black case, you're sure to only see the leather age and age well. The red leather case, unfortunately looked fairly gross after a month. This was not due to dirt, but due to the red dye Apple has used, fading in an inconsistent and unflattering rate. This case rocks. The red case does not. 'Nuff Said!
