Finally had enough of my Bluetooth keyboard churning through batteries and having connection issues, so I "downgraded" to the wired version. It's always connected and has a numeric keypad, which the BT version did not.

Forget that Bluetooth keyboard, the batteries die often and when they do you will find your self trying to understand voice over. What a headache!! Just save the headache and stress, stick with the wire's or wired product!

Great keyboard for the price. Have been using a Bluetooth keyboard but didn't have the 20 Key number pad that is greatly needed for my job while working from home.

have used the wireless keyboard for years, switched to the wired keyboard because of the numeric keypad, much easier to work with numbers. however, if you don't need a numeric keypad, i would recommend the wireless keyboard.

I have a Macbook Air and an additional bigger monitor for working in my office. So when on the go, I just use my Mac but when in the office I have this keyboard which is really very easy to use!

I purchased my first laptop without an extended keyboard, which was extremely hard for me to get use to since I have to do so much imputing with numbers so I ventured out and purchased this one, however I exchanged for the logitech because it is wireless. It makes my job so much easier. Yes I would recommend the Apple keyboard if you don't mind being wired.

I've always been a fan of wireless, but my Apple bluetooth keyboards don't always connect when I need them to. This one is much more reliable, and the wire doesn't bug me as much as I thought. Number keys and the usb ports are an added plus! It does come with a short USB extension too (that can only be used with this keyboard due to a metal notch in the port, but if needed, you can take a pair of pliers and bend it down so you can use the extension with other devices). I would recommend!

I looked at several non-Apple keyboards before making this purchase. In the end, this is a case where the fit, finish, feel and function make a compelling case to spend a few extra dollars on the Apple keyboard.

I wish they would make a version of this keyboard that was wireless. But if that is not a problem for your use, it is a great keyboard if you need access to the function keys greater than 12 or the 10-key numeric pad.

I just plugged it into my Macbook Pro and it worked. The keys are perfectly spaced and have a great feel. One draw-back, if you plug too many devices that draw power into the USB ports on the keyboard, you will get an error message and have to unplug the keyboard from your machine. I have even had to re-boot to get my Mac to recognize the keyboard then.

We bought this for our iMac because my wife needs the 10 key functionality for her home bookkeeping business. Imagine our delight when we discovered that it worked perfectly with a Windows laptop, and our iPads!

If you have an Apple computer with a keyboard other than the two most recent product refreshes (the 12" MacBook or the refreshed MacBook Pro that only has USB-C connectors) this keyboard has the same key feel with the addition of a number keypad. If you like chicklet style keys then the only drawback compared to Apple laptop keyboards is that the keys are not backlit. That being said, Apple's previous and current wireless keyboards don't have this feature either.

I love all apple products, so I'm a bit biased but this keyboard is great! super quiet keys and a full keypad makes it the perfect keyboard. I love it. It's not wireless but that's okay, saves you batteries.

I had a wireless keyboard without a numeric keypad so this wire keyboard is an extra special treat. The keys are easy to glide thru some fast typing. Also you don't have to keep buying batteries. Highly recommend.

I prefer this wired keyboard over the wireless. It has two usb ports underneath it. You don't have to constantly reconnect via bluetooth. OK. It is not backlit but thats why we have a monitor that lights it up.

I really like a keyboard with a numeric key pad. it ends the hunt and peck method of entering numbers. This keyboard is wired instead of wireless and I don't mind it at all -- no need for batteries !

Apple's Keyboard works as it should, and looks great doing it. The two added USB ports is a big convenience, as it means I not only get the USB port my keyboard takes up back, I also get an additional one.

I needed a non-battery powered, non-solar keyboard for my studio--something that could work for a long session and also had a numeric keypad. This fit the bill perfectly. Don't even care that it has a wire.

This keyboard is very good. I purchased it because I got a monitor for my MacBook Pro. To use it the laptop is closed, so you have no access to the built in keyboard. I thought about getting the wireless one, but I like having the numeric keypad attached. It has to USB ports on the side of the keyboard to connect to the computer and charge devices if needed.
