Pleased
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The keyboard is what you think it should be. I was surprised that I naturally started to use the additional 'forward' delete key present on this keyboard but absent from the standard small bluetooth keyboard. The USB ports on the keyboard have proved useful and were a major contributing factor in making the switch. Would like to see an improved version with USB 3.0 pass through and a higher current thoughput for charging iOS devices quicker and powering portable hard drives.

GREAT KEYBOARD
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great keyboard and helpful or someone transitioning from PC to MAC. Great for doing spreadsheets when you need the numeric keyboard. Only flaw is it should be wireless. Great bonus is the USB ports on either side.

Great keyboard experience but not for everyone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think people looking to purchase the Apple USB keyboard are comparing it to either the Apple Wireless keyboard or a standard PC keyboard. For those comparing the wired and wireless keyboard, I do not think you'll notice much of a difference as both keyboards share the same overall design. It really comes down to whether or not you really need the numeric trackpad. For those comparing Apple's USB keyboard to the typical PC keyboard, you'll notice some stark differences. In particular, the keys on the USB keyboard are flat with a low profile. Overall, the keys are satisfying to press and offer the same spacing as your typical keyboard. The advantage is that there's less travel for your fingers, which reduces fatigue. However, since typical keys are concave, you may notice your on the Apple keyboard that your fingers slide off particularly when you've been typing for a while. Overall, though, the keyboard offers a great typing experience, but may take a while for touch typists who are used to regular PC keyboards to get adjust to it.

Nice upgrade from the included keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the numeric keyboard because that is what i'm used to using on my old PC's. This one is a wired keyboard, too bad is wasn't wireless, but it has two USB inputs, so that must be why. I didn't realize that it had the USB inputs, the packaging doesn't really say that. There is one on each end, just under the keyboard. makes hooking up iPhone or whatever much easier. It was a nice surprise though because the iMac doesn't have front facing inputs.

Very fluid typing experience
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the apple keyboards as a daily driver. I got this to get the enhanced functionality of the buttons that don't exist on the wireless keyboard and it has worked well. Typing is fast and comfortable, and while I don't expect it to last as long as a Cherry MX, I'm sure it will last a while. Great keyboard at a good price and it looks like it belongs with my computer instead of the jarring appearance of many other keyboards paired with a mac.

hard wired Apple keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Apple has fallen in my minds eye. They update so often, that third party vendors have trouble keeping up .....my beautiful desktop crashed after an Apple OS update and I had to bring in my five year old 30 pound ($2500) computer into the Apple store for repair? I cracked the screen in two places. When it was "fixed" none of the wireless Apple wonders worked! I had to buy this USB keyboard....which I love. I would never recommend Apple again.

Great for numerical data input
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A quality product that required no set up with the iMac. For routine word data and Email I still use the wireless keyboard that shipped with the Mac. When doing work that requires lots of numerical data entry I switch to the Apple keyboard that includes the Numeric Keypad. Love the quality, feel and touch of each one and have no complaints with either. One just takes up less desk space than the other so I enjoy having both options.

Good, comfortable keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have bought 3 of these now (this one is for Daughter). I wear out keyboards rather continuously after about 2-3 years and this has by far been one of the more comfortable ones I've used. I've tried several MS/Logitech ergonomic keyboards but keep coming back to this model because the keys are large which is good for people with sausage fingers. I find this keyboard more accurate to type on (programmer). If there was one thing I would ding this on it's the lack of a wrist rest that puts the keyboard on a more ergo-friendly downward slope. Would be nice if they had snap-out feet on the front like some Logitech keyboards have had in the past. But overall, the feel is very good.

Full features, doesn't require additional battery.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is how a quality keyboard should be: clean construction, full numbers pad, no additional batteries required (unlike the apple wireless keyboard), comes with 2 USB ports. If you want to minimize hassles while maximize utility, this is by far the best keyboard for your desktop Mac.

Most comfortable keyboard around
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Most people think that a raised keyboard is better for your wrists due to the possibility of carpal tunnel, but a lower profile keyboard is actually more ergonomically sound. The mac keyboards are very low profile and easy to type on - key pressure is minimal. I have nerve damage in my right hand and this is my favorite keyboard to use. Unlike the wireless, it has a separate numeric keypad which makes data entry easier.

Exactly what I needed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a low-profile, full-size keyboard for my desk, which does not boast a lot of real estate at the moment. This was the perfect and logical choice, and pretty much standard everywhere you go these days. The only thing I don't like is that the number pad doesn't seem to function for me when I use Bootcamp, but this is a minor issue that is easy to work around because I don't use Windows very often.
