I debated at length before deciding to purchase this item due to the hefty price tag. I had pre-ordered through Best Buy, but the wait time was so long that I canceled and ordered through Apple. This leather sleeve from apple is rather unusual; the leather is thick yet it has plenty of give to it. I'm no leather connoisseur, but the smooth texture seems more substantial than most leather cases and has a feel of quality to it. I would not stuff the iPad Pro with keyboard into the sleeve; to me, that would stretch the leather more than intended. I use it only when I'm travelling; otherwise, when I'm at home, it's paired with the keyboard. I really like how it holds onto the apple pencil so it doesn't roll off a table and get lost. I do wonder if the saddle brown will attract a lot of dirt over time, but such is the nature of a lighter brown natural leather. I really, really miss the silicone case apple had for the first gen iPad Pro, it was perfect for protecting your iPad when travelling. This leather sleeve is perfect for artists who like to pull out the iPad and use it for design apps on the go. The only thing you give up is the protection once you pull the iPad out of the sleeve. I have yet to find a case like Apple's previous silicone case.

This sleeve is very aesthetically pleasing, and it fits the iPad Pro and Pencil like a glove. But!! No place to store AirPods! If you don’t use AirPods, it’s perfect.

Like the iPad Pro itself, this sleeve is minimal in overall presentation but maximal in protection. While it can protect the Pro and keyboard... it is a tight fit. Best and easily used with the leather Smart Cover. Be prepared... the person next to you will inquire.

It's a must have for the iPad Pro. It just needs slightly more space if the iPad has a keyboard cover. Very stylish!

My iPad felt like I stuffed it in there with the case. I thought once I remove the case it should fit better I was wrong it was very tightly in the sleeve.
