Actually disappointed I asked if it would work to print from my iPad and I was told by the employee it would. It did not and now I have an item i can’t use

Tried using on multiple phones and tablets after apple sd card adapter would not work. All attempts end with the same error message displayed-not enough power to operate device.

I thought this product would allow me to hook an external hard drive to my ipad so I could watch movies from my hard drive on my ipad. This is not the case. Supposedly this item is only a source for importing photos from your camera onto your ipad.

Marketed as a “camera adapter” however, both of my cameras warranted a “device requires too much power” message upon connection. If I hadn’t bought this open-box I’d return it. Of no use

I used it several times and then it quit working! Definitely not worth the $50 spent on it! Would not recommend getting this.

was told this cable would adapt from a camera to the Ipad Pro, but have not had success...but maybe I am not using it correctly. Will have to visit the store to see if they selected the right cord for my tablet.

This item was not really what was needed to connect me with students for instruction through social media. I found a better option and all the parts came together.

I bought this item thinking that the USB storage device would be able to transfer a document into my iPad. It recognized the connection but stated "not a registered red device". This I could not transfer my files and I returned it.

Essentially worthless unless you use it for a camera or whatever it’s for. I was using it for access to flash drives, I don’t have a computer.

I had a cord previously to transfer from my camera to my IPad and it worked flawlessly. This one out of 170 photos only transferred 20 and would not continue the transfer.

it said the usb device is using too much power. don't recommend if you make sure it works with your camera.

Did not download anything. Kept giving error message the attached device would take too much power, and it was a 1 GB usb drive. Ridiculous!

This was recommended for use by a salesman, however, I was able to print and edit the photos without this device, so I would like to return it please.

I was trying to transfer files using a USB drive. The error message was that it required too much power and didn't;t work' I returned it for a refund.

I bought this device to connect a flash drive to my iPad. Since COVID lockdown I couldn’t browse the store shelves. I didn’t discover until after I discarded the package that I need the adapter with a USB and Lightning inputs to read most regular flash drives. The lightning input must be plugged in a power source and the external flash drive is installed in the USB input. The male lightning plugs into the ipad. Then the external flash drive is readable.

This totally does not do what I wanted. I was hoping for an extension for the lightening so I could still use my cords with my case. This won't do it. The person in store implied it would

Since the newer IOS it is supported data from usb devices on iPad e iPhone. The reason I’ve bought this was to use this new feature on an older iPad from 2018. However on an old device there’s not enough power to use most of the usb pen drives and the newer iPads already come with USB-c so this adapter is not needed. Don’t buy unless you want only to use to get pictures from a camera like it was originally meant for.

Anything i tried plugging in to this adapter came back as not enough power. Already returned it.

Everything I plugged into it, thumb drive, SD card, said there is “not enough power to run this device”.
