apple poor charger design - again

Don't waste your money!

But mostly doesn't. Always says 'Require too much power' bs although it has worked before. Apple needs to get their acts together and provide a proper functionality for this device. It's been long overdue and they still don't do it right.

Did not work as I expected it to.

But even when I used another adapter with it to charge it while using this I got an error message that the device used too much power. Then tried to connect my webcam and got the same error message. So I’m not quite sure what use this adapter is supposed to have. It’s useless to me.

Apple Adapter

Did not do what BB said it would do

The tech at Best Buy said that this would do it, so I bought it. Got it home to check to worked prior to a 17 hour bus ride with kids and it didn't work. Calling Apple, I was told that there was no way to make that happen. Was very disappointed.

Unusable!

It was supposed to be for a usb connection to my computer. Unusable. Horrible audio quality. Very disappointing. It was an open box item and maybe it was returned for the same reason but not checked out before reselling. And with covid, I was reluctant to return to store.

Tried to attach a USB stick to a iPad and it says "not enough power" even though it doesn't take power. We then tried to buy the powered USB adapter from Apple and the same thing. Apple makes useless products that break the bank. I returned it.
