It works as expected. Had no problems. I was able to transfer photos from my Nikon 70 Ds to my iPad Pro. Intuitive and reliable. Works like a charm!! I'm glad that I bought it!

I use one of these with my 5s to connect either a high-end DAC or a keyboard. Both work well for this purpose. It also works well to connect that same keyboard to my iPad Air. I have not used this for its intended purpose, but I'm sure that would also work. The only thing that could make this cable better would be power pass-through, similar to the HDMI to lightning and 30-pin adapters. The worst part about this cable is that it's overpriced by ten bucks. Otherwise, it's a great cable and should be something that iOS users that dabble in photography, video, audio, or that have a love for non-Bluetooth physical keyboards should pick up.

Purchased for iPad Air 2. Adapter works advertised, there's really not much to it. Very basic packaging, but the quality of the cable and connectors is very good, as expected for an original Apple part.

I got this to quickly transfer photos to an iPad while on the go. Worked out of the box, very simple to use and I've had no issues with it. A little pricey for what it is but for the convenience it's worth the money.

The product works great with a camera - remember this is for a camera not other devices. The price is a little step for a small cord though. I took a star away for price.

I bought this adapter on my way to a photo shoot. Being that I had recently bought my iPad Pro I was thinking I would have to plug my camera into the adapter to transfer photos. I was happily surprised when I was able to use my compact flash card reader with this adapter without ANY issue. I had to buy a cheap after market adapter from overseas when I needed one for my iPad 2, The Apple adapter at that time would not allow the use of a flash card reader due to a power error. Needless to say, this little device has truly made my day!!!!

I use this with my iPad Pro 12.9 to connect to my usb midi keyboard controller and it works GREAT! No lag, no latency issues, and can just about use it with any DAW app out there. I also use this to connect with my DSLR as well with no issues. I'd recommend this product to anyone in multimedia who has an iPad or iPhone. It's a must have for your cord or camera bag.

My best-friend and I really like this product. It has allowed us to connect our USB devices to our Apple computers with ease. Neither of us have had any difficulties with this product and it works just as any other USB would connect to any other computer.

My ipad says too much power as soon as I plug it in. No device connected to it. Contact Apple and they said possibly defective cable. Will return and see if it works. If it does then will chance my rating.

The only reason why I bought this was because I needed something to connect to my Canon when I'm on the go. so far have not yet used it but I imagine that this would work. It is a short cord and it should be fine to use.

This cord makes transferring photos from a digital camera to a phone easy. I'm going to use it while I'm travelling in Europe to back up the photos on my SD card. There was nothing to install and no WIFI needed.

The Transfer of photos from DSLR to iphone/ipad was difficult earlier. With this adopter, iphone/ipad will be able to import the pics from DSLR immediately.

I bought an Open Box Apple Lightning iPad to USB connector at the local store and it works just like new. No need to buy a new one if you can find an Open Box at a discount.

I returned this, but only because the boroscope camera I had hoped to run off of the iPad needed more power than the iPad could deliver through the adapter.
