Apple to MIDI connector.

Went to music shop, they would have to order. Stopped by Best Buy and the 3 cords I needed with the help of sales clerk became only 2 needed. Thank you for the expertise and having what I needed available for purchase. This cord works Beautiful hooking up garage band to my keyboard and iPad.

Just what I needed

I found out that if I plug my iPad up with this device to the piano that it will help me learn better as it works with the midi controller in the piano. I am haveing much better success with this device rather than just the Mic Observation: on my iPad. I am using this with a Yamaha keyboard, flowkey app and my ipad

For external dac.

Some devices may require external power which this does not provide as it doesn’t have a lightning port. However, you can bypass that requirement via wireless charging. So it works as expected.

This product worked with iPad Pro 10.5 2017

Some USB Devices draw too much power so the iPad will give an error message saying the device is using too much power. I was able to solve this by using a USB hub. The USB hub I have is an Anker A7518. A 4 port USB hub that is pretty small. I was able to plug any usb drive to this without plug power into the hub.

This Lightning-to USB Camera Adapter works as expected. In hindsight, I wish I had purchased one with an additional port so that I can have my iPad plugged into the power outlet while using my USB microphone.

worked for my need
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to connect my iPad to an AKAI MPK mini MKII USB (only) music keyboard in order to use my music synthesizer apps onstage. It didn't work at first saying there wasn't enough power in the iPad to power the keyboard, but I found that if I connected a cheap garden variety USB hub in between it fooled the iPad into thinking it had the power. Now it all work great!
